I filled out an online Staples survey sweepstakes a couple of days ago, and am now receiving calls like this.  They obviously handed out my phone number to other advertisers.  I missed this call and they didn't leave a message, but yesterday and the day before, I got calls from online college recruiters and time share sales.  So whoever this call is from, I think they got my number from ME giving it out online.  I'll never do that again.

I did not answer. They left no message.

Name Not Found.

asked if I receive social security and wanted to continue - press 1
if not - press 8

a lot of times these are scam numbers.. When u pick up the phone and answer it ,it automatically charges your phone and unknown amount...check your bill next time and flag that area code all together. this particular number is coming from the surrounding area of the airport which sounds seedy enough as it is

Call at 8:10am, today, didn't answer...never got an area code 110 call before.

received this call didnt realize it said name not found answered the call no response....2 days ago i renewed with the do not call list.   I dont understand why someone cant get after this number ?
what can they get after i answered ?

Just received a "Name Unavailable" call from this number.  Searched the web and found the area code to be in Costa Rico.  No message left.  When hitting redial I received a message that the number is invalid.  WTF???

Received a call from this number May 1st at 2:38 PM.  Showed up as "Name Not Found".  No one on the line.

Got a call from 110-385-4154. At lunch time.  Said  Name not found on phone. I let the answer machine pick up and they hung up.  I am on the Do not call list for this very reason.

I received a call from 110-385-4154 today while I was at work.  They left no message, and on the caller ID it said "Name Not Found"

recieved this call today, went to voice mail, and left no message, based on what I read here I set out to block this number and learned the following:
8002412259 is the redirected number for 110-385-4154, when trying to block this number remember to use all international codes.  ?011 - US exit code; dial first for international calls made from the USA or Canada
?506 - Country Code for Costa Rica

Answered the call but there was no one there.  I believe it has something to do with the scam calls that we have been warned about.

I decided to pick up out of curiosity, just to see what the person would say--despite the apparent Costa Rica Area Code, the recording sounded like a man with a Boston accents saying, "If you receive Social Security Benefits, press 1; if you don't want to receive Social Security Benefits, press 2." Whoever's behind this phone number, they're obviously up to no good.

This number calls and does not say anything. Harrassing us

Got a call from this number at 6:40 pm recording came in i immediately hung up....came up unknown caller. These people need to be stopped...

Phone rang at 11:11 a.m.   Let it ring for did not recognize number and also said Name Not Found
Went to recorder, whoever it was hung up when answering machine went on.

What is with all these calls?  Govt No Call List doesn't do any good.  Still get solicitors calling, with press 1 for more info or press 9 to opt out.  I thought that is what I did, with the Govt DO NOT CALL LIST

Got a call from this number a couple of days ago, I did not have my glasses on so could not see number but when I answered........they hung up.  then I got concerned that maybe they just wanted me to answer so they could lock into my number and personal info some how.  Hope I was just being paranoid!

Saw the area code and hung up on 'em.

Should not have to pay for call block on 110 numbers.  Verizon is a loathsome company.

Called and left no message on my answering machine.  I added the area code/phone number to my blocked caller list.

Do yourselves a favor folks and get a call blocker.  Sell a kidney and/or first-born if you must. :-)   I used money that I might have otherwise contributed to annoying political parties and charities.  After the constant calls, I decided to put the money to better use.  The resulting absence of annoying calls is worth it.

I totally agree with you MAC! I also have my calls blocked and I am on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" as well!  What can we do?????????

This number calls me all the time and then hangs up. The area code is from Liberia Airport (the surrounding area) in Costa Rica!      110-385-4154  Caller ID says Name Unavailable!!!

I started calling these people back and was charged long distance charges for JAMICA! Not this particular number but others so from now on I just call my telephone provider and have them blocked!!!
