I received several calls from this number and I need to know who this is that is sending me text messages.  Whre this person is from. and any other information that can be given to me with reference to thisnumber.

I would like to know if this is a legitimate person Iam talking to from the above phone or text number?

Made contact with this animal as a match from Match.com.  He/she identified herself as Jessica Burberry, said she was from Oregon but was living in Tennessee with her son.  I quickly figured out that it was a scam and stopped communicating, but still receive an occasional text from him/her asking me to get back in touch.  This is clearly a con artist scamming money.  Be careful.

I recently received a message on Facebook and my cell phone.  The supposed persons name is Tacora.  She claims to be single and looking for Mr. Right.

Get into your phone and touch the call settings button, get call rejection and then into auto reject list. hit the +add button push the contacts button and add the number you want blocked. Or type in the number and save :) good luck!

Got a text from scob35 @ this number 111-044-0602 saying he wanted pic's of my puppies I had for sale. Said his name was bill and his e-mail was scob35@yahoo.com. have been constantly harassed by scammers this last month and didn't get on-line, just looked the number up first! Thank goodness I did. Don't mind telling you, it's spooky. Wether this guy is a prof scammer or a prof rapist or teen stalker or whatever, please report this and get help getting your phone number changed or something!! Don't let this go on! Hope the cops catch these guys soon! Watch out, it's a scam job and a darn good one!

Email came from Match.com. Ask me to go to Yahoo to use messenger. Said he was in the Army, in Syria Damascus at this time. He was wanting to meet me. Very impatient. A person wanting control. Caught him in lies. He got very upset when I confronted him and he immed. signed out. This went on for a week. He asked for my cell number so he could text me, which was a mistake. He uses 2 email address. 3 numbers from Yahoo. 111-044-0601, 111-144-0601, 111-144-0600 . Used names: Edward Peterson. Peterson.10909 @ yahoo.com. Edward Morris. Be ware!

Scam alert - Joe King, AKA Joseph William King, gives dob as March 26, 1956.  Profile on Match.com user name brookenheart633. Email is joe6king54@yahoo.com.  Phone number he uses is 440-652-2480 and I also have pictures. He uses Yahoo messenger and asks you for user name to contact you.  Tells you he is in foreign country, has been robbed, needs money to pay the hotel because he used all his money to pay his mother's hospital bill.  Says he has a 12 year old named David who is in Cairo Egypt with his mother because his wife was killed.  Gives an address in Austin, Texas on S,. MoPac Expressway.  Tells you they are trying to kill him and have his passport  Uses a fake pre-created marriage proposal.  Dear (inserts your name here)

Be alert - this is a really bad guy.  Uses religion and his family and death of loved one to try to suck you in. Also tells you he will inherit 5 million dollars on his birthday but no one knows but his lawyer and him and his mother.

When you won't send him money he starts cursing and tells you they are going to kill him and have taken his laptop and phone, etc.  Please be aware.

i have been getting texts from this guy but he goes by anderson potts. i met him on confirio.com . He is in the military and said he wanted to text me and chat with me. if this is a scammer, how do i block his number from my phone.

I meet someone by the name Brian Earley on Match.com. He says he has a College degree in construction craft building technology management system. his description is 5'11 about 210 pounds born and raised in Berlin Germany,birthday december 15, he is 49 years old. this information is in his profile of match.com. he is picture with a medium color girl claims to be his daughter and two other pictures by himself he is light skin. he has been texting me for the past two weeks from the number1110440602. He claims due to his job he has a contract is for $850,00 dollars  working in west africa and he gave me the number 2347033884756. I call the number but I could determine if it was a man or woman because the voice had a heavy accent. At the 15 day of text in and two phone calls all of it suddent ask me for $1,750.00 dollars claiming that his work equipment broke and he needs to replace it.. I send him to get a loan. I went online and follow instructions on scammers.
He also writes every single day poems and plenty of love letter that are not even from him it looks like pleague.. I will never send or wire any money to anyone. I gat save by the bell :) Pray and God will cleanse your eyes he did for me :)

Clearly this has been going on since 2007... I received an early morning text from "ef5012086" saying "hey are you awake"
Nothing has or will be done about these texts. I will simply call my cell phone provider and see if I can get the number blocked.
Those claiming the FBI and police are involved are nuts. Stating Yahoo will do anything about it is also crazy.

I use Google Voice for texting.  1. I don't have a text plan so it costs 25 cents to send a text.  2. It takes me 10 minutes to type in anything on my phone.
