I had received a sms frm 1 111 440 602  this is a yahoo messenger number  apparently they are associated either with a
company in Nigeria or India   they either try to solicit funds or conduct job interviews   further checking states that they want you
to set up a gmail gtalk account.   contacted cell phone provider who placed number on their spam archive listing   I texted
stop and forwarded number to cell carrier    they apparently are getting the  numbers if you had or have a active yahoo account...my cell carrier also put my number on sms solicitation opt out which is a service that all cell carriers should

I received a text message from this number at around 2:00 am in the morning.  Open the message and it said "Hey I promised you pics I couldn't put on facebook.  Check them out by joining tinyurl.com/06kljoe"   WHAT is this?

Got some BS from this number - a text saying they were somebody on FaceBook, blase blase here's my pix, whatever. Some link. Yeah right. So just for the hell of it, I scoped it out - adult dating site. So I did a little more research and found that this number is Yahoo! Messenger. It has the ability to send text messages to any cell phone. So basically, ANYBODY can use Yahoo! Messenger to send out garbage.

this scumbag contacted me through my ad on craigs list for daycare.. claiming they worked for craigs list and wanted me to post ads for them for apartments.. I googled the name brownsarah302@yahoo.com.... It came up as a scam.. the number they were using was 424-218-9806

I did not receive a phone call, but received a scammy email fro Barbara Leigey tos701e3@gmail.com concerning a Craigslist ad.

I googled darasimi123. Surprise, surprise all links to nigerians.

I got a yahoo text message on my phone from "Sarah Brown" She wanted me to post a bunch of CL ads from different yahoo accounts, she said she worked for the EPA. I posted a few and noticed all of the accounts had the same password: darasimi123. I logged into the sarah brown's yahoo account: brownsarah302@yahoo.com with this password and uncovered the source of the scams! Alot of poor people who got suckered with fake checks who emailed to follow up and got no response, a bunch of drafts that were going to get sent to people with a bunch of directions from oversees accounts and fake craigslist accounts. Anyway. I deleted the account from yahoo's termination page. Good riddance.

The other account was lindamark876@yahoo.com (password darasimi123) and karina.rock@yahoo.com (password darasimi123) If I remember correctly, the passwords for the CL ads are the same log-in. Try and log in with CL and you will see all of the fake spammer ads that was posted.

i recieve a siberian husky from this person and it was delivered to my house via my home address.

I got almost the same thing. I am selling my dogs and this person sent me a text saying they are hearing impaired and they couldn't come pick the dog up themselves and would have someone pick it up for them.  They also live outside of the state. just got a check from a scammer today.  The check was in a fake USPS envelope that had "Returned for Postage" stamped on it.  The return label states it is from Kelly Tractor Co in Miami FL.  The check is from Olney Friends School in Ohio.  This is a private quaker boarding school that has a scam alert on their website not to cash these fraudulent checks.  The bank listed on check is Wesbanco Bank in Ohio.  And the letter accompanying the check is from a sharonmark3@gmail.com  The scammer I was dealing with was Sarah Brown at BrownSarah302@yahoo.com  The letter states to "get back to us as soon as you have received payment Via the email (securedpayment1@gmail.com) for the immediate verification"

The scammer stated they were a renter from Spain, moving to the US to work for the Environmental Protection Agency EPA on private research.  They wanted to rent a room sight unseen.  

Also the check is dated 10 January - over ten months ago!!!

The check was for $2,850.00 when I was just expecting $700.00 from the scammer.

This telephone / text number 111440602 is now being used by a "Sarah Brown" at BrownSarah302@yahoo.com where Sarah is involved in a renter's scam.  She states she is 28 years old, Chemist from Spain, and is moving to the US to work for the EPA..  She wants to rent a room sight unseen, and states her boss is sending a check.  I am to deposit check, keep the money for the rent, and then I am to pay the shipper their amount to deliver her belongings.  I sent an email and text stating that the FBI was actively investigating this scam.

I got a text from this number.  It is a craigslst renting scam.  Be careful with yahoo email address with numbers after a madeup name; example BrownSarah302@yahoo.com person said they were from Spain and moving to us to work for EPA and looking for a room.  That they would send check for shipping and rent - for me to deposit (forgery) check in my bank account and for me to pay for their shipping.  Scam

I got this same exact email.  Only thing different I was get a 50.00 deposit to hold this item.  His or her  name was Nathan Krump.  Wanted me to text him at 828-351-4023.   There email address was prduct104@gmail.com.   This is why I hate using Craigslist.  Scam artist like this.
