receiving calls daily. Leaves a v/m "this is an urgent call, there is no problem with your credit card but please call as soon as possible"
There has to be a way of stopping these harassing calls.......but I don't know how

This seem to be a scam lowring interest rates. EN passant çca ne dit pas que la carte est expirée mais que leur offre expire bientot pour faire baisser le taux d'interet. Ca semble est une pogne. Communiquer avec votre cie de carte pour vérifier!

I've hear that this is a Fraud and is happening everywhere.  If you know elderly who have credit cards or young naive teens, please let them know not to dial "1".  Somehow, they can take your information...

Cessez de vous inquièter inutilement. Ne répondez jamais à un numéro bizzarre. 111,222,333,7: cela ne vous apparaît pas bizarre un peu comme numéro?
Je ne répond jamais à des numéros quand l'afficheurs indique: Limité, 1-866, 1-876, ou 1-613. Les premiers nous font perdre notre temps ou sont des crosseurs pour un pogne et le dernier c'est le Féféral pour un sondage en période d'élection. Je dors très bien.

je suis des canton de lest au Québec et je viens juste de recevoir cette appel

If this call comes into your mobile phone, invest in a cheap software that does call blocking like the WebGATE Advanced Call Manager for Nokia Symbian Series 60 Phones.

If you have VoIP, I am pretty sure you can Block all calls from this number using a web-based VoIP Console Manager. I block all unknown calls.

For regular telephone lines... I do not know of any solutions...

je viens de recevoir un message de 111-222-3337, en anglais avec un accent Arabe ou Indo ou Europe de l'est. Il semble qu'il a une innodation quelque part et besoin de crédit, c'est urgent que je le rappelle.

Sur ma boîte vocale, j'ai reçu un message du 111-222-3337. En boucle, un message enregistré (d'une certaine Mimi, si j'ai bien compris!?) me répétais en anglais "qu'il y a un problème avec mon compte de crédit, que je suis admissible à un taux réduit, mais que éligibilité et mon taux réduit actuel vont bientôt expirer!" (Bon, je paye toujours mes comptes temps et en totalité... je n'ai aucun taux réduit... et je m'en moque complètement!!!)

Comme il s'agissait d'un message, je ne pouvais pas "appuyer sur le 1 pour parler à un opérateur"... et leur dire ma façon de penser sur leur système de fraude.

Pour me vider le coeur, j'ai tenté de les rappeler... Sans succès!!! Le 111-222-3337 est injoignable!

Si vous doutez encore qu'il s'agisse d'un appel frauduleux, posez-vous les questions suivantes:
-­­­ Est-ce que ma compagnie de crédit appellerait sans s'identifier clairement?
- Est-ce qu'elle appellerait sans donner de numéro pour la recontacter?
- Est-ce qu'une entreprise sérieuse qui traite avec des Québécois ne me donnerait pas le choix entre l'anglais et (ma langue de correspondance) le français?

Je viens de recevoir un téléphone...c'est un message enregistré en anglais qui me dit que ma carte de crédit vient à son expiration... (ce qui est faux) et que je dois les rappeler.  C'est la deuxième fois que je reçois ce genre d'appel. (à vrai dire je raccroche souvent avant d'écouter le message car c'est trop long).

Je n'ose pas rappeler je ne trust pas ce genre d'appel

does anyone know how to call these people back?? they keep calling the place i work at. so i pressed 1 to speak to a live rep, and i started telling them to take me off their list and the SOB hung up on me!

i want to call them back and tell them where to go!! and to stop calling a corperate store!!

I called the # listed @ the bottom of the page 1-800-943-3250, ext.1020 & was connected to a woman named 'Cathy' who was understanding and helpful.  She took my # & explained that it would take up to 31 days for the 'do not call' to become effective.  I told her about the rude call centre person & she said she'd pass the info along to her mgr.
Cathy also confirmed that they are located in Washington State.

Got a call ~ 6 p.m. today.  It started with a recorded intro re: an offer to lower my credit card interest; then a choice of 'press 1' (speak to an operator) or 'press 3' (have your # removed from their list).  I've received many of these calls & have pressed 3 many times - it obviously doesn't work.  So I pressed 1 to try to truly get off their list.
A male, ~20-30, with an educated South Asian accent (sorry, I'm unfamiliar with regional accents and can't be more precise) started in with his pitch but I asked him to confirm the company name.  He seemed taken aback but told me quickly 'MCS'; I had him repeat to clarify.  I told him my problem about pressing 3 in the past & remaining on their list & asked to speak to his mgr about this.  He then said 'Honey, am I not enough for you?'  & continued to call me 'Honey' for the rest of the call but he eventually hung up on me after telling me his name is 'Mr. Honey', his manager's name is 'I Don't Know' & his mgr's # is 123-456-78910.  
I pressed #69 & found the # is 111-222-3337 (right!), so it is not possible to use the call-block fn with the phone system.
I looked up MCS' (Mutual Consolidated Savings)web address: http://truthaboutmcs.com
They are supposedly located in Tacoma WA; called them @ 1-877-891-1348 but 'the voicemailbox is full'.  
Scammers?  I'm positive - and they are ignorant too.

This is the Link that I was advised by MCS to follow for there Do Not Call List, after repeatedly, calling, and emailing them, They finally sent it to me.

some woman's voice about ;owerin interest and to press 3 if you wanted to be ren=moved from list. well needless to say I didn't press 3. I live in canada/ who the heck  are thses people ans hw do they get to use such a tn?

A really harsh, do it or else woman's voice demandsW7A3 I press for an operator to 'lower my interest rate'. I've blocked this no. They change it from time to time.

Phone number looks false. Female voice said this is Mimi and i hung up didn't listen to anything more.  Don't know the phone number and don't know any Mimi........so not sure what it was about.
There is no " 1 " in front of the number on my caller ID.

This phone number details advising that your credit card is over the limit, to call and speak to live representive and they will lower your interest rate.  You get a voicemessage advising have your credit card number handy and then you will be able to speak to a finanical adviser by phone only. In the past..Ts company is in the States that has often covered themself by using another company name.  I live in Canada and one point they were call me every day for 10 days.
