Why are they calling and it shows no name available.

Asked for person who was not home then got exceptionally rude.  Would not identify himself but got a call the night before from a VERY similar number that was allegedly some kind of debt consolidation company.

They call me as well! It started today and already I had 4 phone calls, but didnt answer

Found this number on my caller ID!  Who the **** is this clown?

They also NEVER leave a message and since this phone number is totally invalid they are not providing any legitimacy to their business, their rudeness just reconfirms it, so I HIGHLY recommend that everyone block (contact your phone company) and/or ignore these callers.  If everyone blocks them they'll be forced to try something else or, heaven forbid!, become legitimate.

I have also received a call from this number today.  I tried calling it to see who it might be.  I pushed the first 3 numbers and it started saying it was an invalid number.

Rec'd four calls from this number which I have never answered because the number was not familiar to me.  I tried to call it back and it says "to place this call you will first need to dial an area code".  Must be a crank is all I can think of.

Yep - they telephone the UK as well. I got a call last week. Foreign accent - couldn't understand who he was after. I was afraid it may have been some sophisticated scam but nothing appears in my bill.

Said they were from National Debt Consolidation, I told them to remove me from call list...lady said NO we can't and hung up.

middle age indian man has called my wife for the past three months and got her information posing as a credit company; point of the matter is don't give any information or CLARIFY ANY ( SS# ,D.O.B. ,OR PRESENT ADDRESS, OR NAME) TO THIS PERSON. POLICE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT IF YOU HAVE A CELL PHONE, BUT IF YOU HAVE A LAND LINE THE MOST YOU CAN DO IS HAVE THE NUMBER BLOCKED! they cant look it up they said the number can be from anywhee.

THIS JERK HAS CALLED MY DAUGHTER FIVE OR SIS TIMES TODAY.HE HAS ASK HER FOR A DATE AND ALSO TO MARRY HIM. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO HE IS.THE FIRST TIME HE CALLED HE ASK FOR MY HUSBAND BY NAME ,SO HE HAS GOTTEN THAT INFORMATION FROM SOMEPLACE.WE REPORTED THIS TO THE POLICE.THEY ARE RUNNING A SEARCH ON THE NUMBER.HE CALLED JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO.BOTH MY DAUGHTER AND MYSELF GOT ON THE PHONE.I TOLD HIM TO STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER AND THAT WE HAD CALLED THE POLICE.HE KEPT SAYING FOR ME TO TALK SOFTLY....ha ha I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE SPEAKING SOFTLY TO THIS CRAZY MAN.DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE IF THIS NUMBER COMES UP ON YOUR CALLER ID.

they call in the middle of the day and i never answer, usually i am at work and don't answer cell calls then.

Woman asked for me by my legal first name. I asked her name she said " Sharon "

They also told me they were consolidating debts.  The call me either asking for Rebecca  or Monty Mecham....These guys are giving creditors my phone number because I get calls from collection agency after collection agency looking for them.  I have had my home number for too long for them to have just changed their number.  But these people call me at least 2 times a day.  They have done so for a few weeks now.  It is getting really old.

national debt mortgage company. they want to know all your credit card debt.they hav been calling me for almost 2 yrs now. doesn't matter if you get nasty with them/ it's a game they will call you back. tell them you have no ebt. they hang up pretty fast.. report them to the do not call list everytime they call.....

next time they call just tell them to wait and you will go get that person and lay your phone down.  Of course you are not going to get that person just wait a while and see if they hang up maybe if this is done a few times they will quit calling. Maybe you can play some music for them while thy wait.  Worth a try. Nothing seems to work with these people.

I did some research and found secure mortgage network. And a number that a shady lady named Vicki answers- (321) 377-4003. Call her a million times a night like her Indians do to you. She seemed pretty pissed that I called her until I said that I wanted to refinance my "debt." It really sounds like her home # (tv in backround) and just answers "hello." Then she was all nice and wanted to help me and said that I called on line 1 and you never know who is calling on line 1!?!?!?!. Just keep calling her.

The caller constantly called me back for 3 minutes, Tying up my phone lines and harrassing me.

Caller would not give any info, just said that they liked my voice and kept asking for my cell phone number.  Acted upset when I said that I was married and did not want to talk to my husband.

Got the call from this number - 1139821900. Same company has used another phone number in the past. Don't remember the phone number, but it was from 415 area code.

This number keeps calling even though I am telling them they have the wrong number...it is a corporation they are calling and they are looking for a specific person who is not here. They call almost every day!

Received a call [around at 9:05PM on July 27, 2010] from someone who claims to be calling from the National Debt Center and asked for my mother (Sara)... I said she wasn't available and he said:"Are you sureeeee you are not Sara?' I told him my mother doesn't speak English at all and he was so rude he hang-up... I found that very weird, especially the way he asked. I came online to verify if there was scams going around because I know 1st hand my mom doesn't have "debts', at least nothing especiaI, wasn't lucky to get his number my Caller ID its not working at the moment, but I am very interested in knowing where this call come from. I am sure he will call again, if not him, other "agent".

These people are fraudulent, beware of calls that come in from them and others in this manner. On a cell phone, there will be an asterisk before the number, this is usually an indication, they are on foreign soil, and trying to hide their number.    creeps and their scams....

Nat debt center called me three times in one day from a guy named "John". I think it was the same guy but the indian accent was so thick that it was hard to tell. I got irate the third time they called and told them, for the third time to take me off their call list! I got a call the next day from "John". I was calm and told him that I had $50,000 in credit card debt, that I was behind on my payments and could afford to pay 2% of my debt each month. He got excited and told me that I qualify and to hold on so that he could pass me off to his loan officer. That's exactly what I wanted. The loan officer finally got on the phone. He introduced himself as Steve Abbots. He also had an accent but it wasn't so thick. It may have been middle eastern. He confirmed with me that I had $50,000 in credit card debt. I calmly replied that I had lied and that if I receive another call from Nat Debt Center that I would find a way to sue him for harassment and get money from HIM. He said that he would remove me from the list. We'll see if they call again. I fully expect them to. He probably put me on the "call everyday no matter what" list.
