Thank you for posting the service number.  I called it and requested to be removed from the call list, but they said they couldn't do it unless requested by my husband, whose name was in their file.  When I went down to have my husband talk to them, he hollered that he would NOT speak to them ("those idiots") and if they called anymore they would be subject to a $50,000 fine, as we are on the do not call list.  The man on the phone heard him and was prompt in telling me he would, indeed, remove our name.  Mission accomplished.

1159142030 "Serif" is the owner of this telephone number.  I looked up their contact number and spoke to Customer Service: 800 489 6720. They recorded my request to stop calling and assured me that we would not be contacted again.

I am SICK of this company calling me.

I like their software but won't EVER buy it again because of this.  It is NOT worth it.  I tell them no and ask to be removed from the calling list, but, of course, that is NEVER respected.

If you don't answer, they call and call and call and call until you do.  If you do, they go supercharged and aggressive.

I'm in the U.S. and have tried blocking the number by leaving the 44 off and entering it like this.  115-914-2030.  Hopefully it works.

If you are considering purchasing from them, don't.  You will enter telephone hell.

I also received a cal from 115-914-2030.  It is Serif, a software company in Nottingham, England.   They sales tactics are on the excessive side, however, with the exception of one software package,  I find their software quite good and easy to use.   I currently use MoviePlus X6 regularly.  It is great.   I hate their high pressure sales tactics and have called and told them so.   As a rule I ignore their calls.  They will eventually stop calling.   If enough people go to their website and complain about their sales tactics they should get the message.

Serif has been calling me several times a day even though I never ordered anything from them and long ago requested to be taken off their contact list.  Serif thinks they can get more business by being as obnoxious as possible.  They are wrong.

I just received a call from 115-914-2030.  If this is indeed from Serif, they can be a bit pushy and tend to use high pressure sales tactics.   On the good side, I have used their software for more than 10 years.   It is outstanding and reasonably priced.  Their MoviePlus X6 is great for putting together home video from stills or video clips.  Again, the bad side is Serifs high pressure sales tactics which I don't appreciate.

We too are getting calls from 1159142030 - also I really like Serif Software.  If they are making those calls I would consider not buying anymore of their products.

It's Serif, and they're obnoxious and apparently desperate for sales. I bought software from them once, and believe me, it's also the LAST time. I mean, four to five calls per day? Seriously? How desperate is this pathetic company? Thank goodness for Google Voice with its call blocking ability, although they still keep trying.

Don't know if you ever brought it up with them, but they're still at it and calling literally multiple times a day. Thank goodness for Google Voice and call blocker. Their tactics smack of desperation, and I've warned quite a few people away from doing business with them, both online and in person. I had a friend who was interesting in their web software, at least until I showed her my call log. Another lost customer for this desperate co.

I have been a professional user of Serif's desktop publishing software (PagePlus) for many years and consider it to be *very* good software, particularly given its price point. Their online support forums are incredible and overall they seem to be an excellent company that cares about their customers. Because of this, I find it particularly disappointing that they are apparently engaged in making repeated unidentified, unsolicited phone calls. I will definitely bring this up on both the forums and with their customer service department.

I don't know who is calling from this number because nobody ever answers but I have been persistently calling me for almost two weeks.  From the information I am reading it sounds like it is probably Serif which is a company in the UK - I purchased web development software from them about 6 months ago.  Extremely annoying and I have stopped even picking it up but everyday at least two times I get a call from this number.

They call up to five times a day. They should change their name from Serif to Stalker. I advise to never do business with them or to give them a non-working phone number.

It's gotten to be like stalkers now. Up to 5 calls every day. Never ever ever do any business with this company or give them your information unless you want to be bombarded with sales calls. They're relentless and annoying and time wasters and their software isn't even that good.

These people are ridiculous. I bought one of their products a while back and will never buy another because of their incessant calls. They stopped for a while after I blocked them via Google Voice, which gives them a disconnected message/tone. Now they're obviously desperate for business because my GV spam folder is full of multiple calls per day. Not only will I not buy from them again, but I'm telling everyone I know and posting everywhere I can about their horrible phone spam practices.

Three calls today, 11 minutes apart. Two previous calls past two days. I answered the third call today and asked Serif to stop calling. The CSR said I had given them permission to call (because I am a customer). I told him I changed my mind and was very unhappy about the repeated calls. He said he would take the number off. I also e-mailed Serif via the customer service portal on the serif.com web site. Serif is a legitimate purveyor of graphics software. Software is reasonably priced and is OK. One can do serious price negotiations when buying! Caller ID comes up "out of area." I should think if Serif announced itself on CID and made MANY fewer calls to unanswered numbers, it would be better received and less annoying.

I, too, have been receiving calls from this number.  In an earlier "post,"  "Ed" identified these calls as originating from England, Serif Software.  This could very well be, as I am a longtime purchaser of Serif Desktop Publishing software and just recently upgraded one of my products.  It's a good company, so I'm wondering why they don't respond when the call is answered???  Of course, I don't answer ANY call that I don't recognize, this one included - that's the purpose of my answering machine!

This number belongs to Serif Software in England. If you have bought or downloaded software from them, they have your number and are using outbound sales calls.

You can reach them at serviceadvisor@serif.com to complain.

The number is from a UK computer software company called "Serif".
I bought a programme via their website, and the called me half a year after to hear about my satisfaction with the software, and of course trying to sell me more.
They tried calling me 4-5 times over a period of three days.. finally they left a message on my answering machine telling me I could have a look at their website for further information.
But I live outside the UK as well, so it's damn annoying not knowing who the number belongs to.
So now I just blocked the number.

I have been receiving calls from 115-914-2030 for the past month everyday, sometimes twice a day,
mornings and evenings.  I have not answered them inasmuch as I do not recognize the number and
the caller's name is shown as UNKNOWN.  there is no such area code in the USA, is it possible that
this is from an overseas caller?
