Recieved multiple callss over the past 2 days, no voicemails left, and not amswered the calls.

been having calls from 1173143699 over a number of weeks, sometimes as many as three or four times a day.  have picked up once or twice but no one answers. line seems dead

I keep getting calls from this number its happening every day if i answer there is noone there

I also got a call today (21/04/2011), but there was an extra 1 at the front! +11173143699.
I didn't hear my phone ring, but saw the missed call later, you're right it seems dodgy! Didn't leave a message. I wonder how they got my number...
Btw, the time was 14:37, very close to the other person who reported it before me...

I got a call at 14.41 from this number.

I'm job hunting at the moment, so my number has been floating out there a lot. I wonder if it is via this that they have got hold of it?

Missed call but no voicemail, my network cannot connect to the number, WHY then do they permit the call through to my NUMBER?????

I'm awaiting a call back from the U.S. so answered, the caller hung up instantly. Clearly not who i thought i might be. Wouldn't reccomend answering to be on the safe side.

oh, and i can't call the number back from my mobile or landline....dodgy!

I have been getting calls from this number several times a week for the last month or so!! Haven't answered any of the calls and they haven't left any messages.

Just had a call from them its a firm doing a survey for a charity...she asked if i had time i told her not to call me back...her name was Anne.  She didnt sound American which is strange but i suppose not everyone in America sounds American.

Looking forward to phone bill!!  Hopefully not one of those nasty scamming calls

Same here got one too. Answered but they hung up several secs later. Will keep an eye on my next bill.

Im in the UK and I just got a call from this number (+1 is from the US i think) and i picked up but nobody spoke to me. . . I have no idea who this was. Im getting the vibe from the posts that everybody else has writen that it is a scam so I would avoid calls from this number in the future.

have had several missed calls from this number. one time it didn't have any 1's at all, just 7314699. very strange, and quite irritating

I answered them and they claimed to be from a charity- but I havn't given out my name or number to anyone like that- definitely block them if you can- they keep calling me and leaving blank voice-mails.

Yeah I got one yesterday as a missed call with just background noise in the voicemail. Some very foreign sounding woman says her name is Anne and she's calling from some sort of charity. The reception was SO bad though I could barely make it out. I won't be picking up my phone again to that.

I just got a phone call from this number too (23/03/11) - some very foreign sounding "Mary" but the only word I could make out was "charity" and then the call cut out. Won't be answering this again! I'll keep an eye on my phone bill too, because it wasn't a British number so this could cost me a fortune....

Just got called by them, didn't answer, few minutes later got called by a charity asking for my bank details to set up a direct debit donation. The second time was a UK number so im not sure if they are the same. I thought numbers starting with 1 were from the USA.

I just got one too. Strange voicemail did not return the call.

Just had call from them...they claimed to be a charity working for Great Ormond Street Hospital..foreign sounding man and blatantly not UK number so hope I didn't get charged for the 30 second call before I hung up...no idea how he got my number and name, can't believe people are allowed to get away such blatant and immoral scamming...avoid like the plague!
