Called me.  Same story as above guys. So I said #1 I'm a guy(kept calling me ma'am) #2 I know a good deal of technology #3 No.  Then I hung up.  Fun fun!

Received call when I was out and it went to voicemail with no message being left. Call display shows the number as V08300506570116 1200012000. Good thing that this site is around as it appears that scammers are at it again !!

Same thing for me last night but Voip V08290714580116 - got my husband all flustered because he knows nothing about computers and the guy (heavily accented English) was spouting off about hackers accessing my computer and roaming and doing nasty things, and that they'd have to cut off my Windows if this wasn't fixed.  Swore up and down to my husband that this wasn't a scam call.  I was in the middle of something and just mumbled to the guy that my security and firewall are fine and hung up.  Thinking about it afterwards, I should have remarked that that was curious as my computer's an Apple - see what he would have said to that.  His English was so accented that I couldn't catch what company he was saying he was with.

i do not even have a computer in the house. Old fashioned. But he said I have a virus on it?????? A scam for sure>>>

I just got a call from the same person. This is very much a scam, and when I called him on it, he hung up the phone on me. He claimed to be from Windows tech support. He said that he would help me remove corrupt files from my system. I'm a system builder, and Microsoft doesnt support my version on Windows, and if they did, they wouldnt be calling me to offer me tech support. No company on the planet has an outbound tech support service. Tech supoort is always inbound. I'm doing more research on this phone number.

1200012000  - phone number came up, called me by name, and said it was Microsoft regarding my computer.  I asked what they were selling, and they hung up.

They called my grandmother asking if she had a computer and they said they where windows support and so did the CID so i told them i am a cop and i have tracked them and i will tell their local police about it and they never called after

Same number, different voip name:V08280231140116. I picked up but didn't wait long enough to hear anybody speak.

Showed a voip name of V826220400000041.  Sent them to my fax for an ear full of squeal.  If a company is so ashamed of who they are that they won't show who they are, I refuse to answer.
