Calls keep coming telling me I have Computer Errors. Who is this joker??? My Computer is fine!!! And protected!!!

Enter them into your contacts and then set your settings so that number goes directly to your voice mail.  When I enter them into my contact, I enter the name as SPAM or something similar so when I see the messages, if any are left, I can just delete them.

I got a call from this number, a few days, ago. He said my computer was sending errors, for the last month. He went through his speech, & I told him I could not understand him, so he said he would call me back, on another line. He did, & told me to type some stuff in the "run" command. After a few minutes of going along with him(but not doing what he wanted). I told him I had traced the line, & the authorities would be there, soon. He laughed at me & hung up.
Today, I got another call(sounded like the same guy), He started his same speech, & I asked what version of Windows he was talking about. He said, Windows 8. I told him I don't even have Windows 8(I do). He then asked, what version do I have. I told him it didn't matter & I knew that Microsoft would not call people on the phone. He said he was not with Windows. I told him he was a fraud & then he hung up.

Got a call from this number said my computer needed to be cleaned and repaired because of a bad update. This has happened before (bad updates) so I went ahead and followed thru until he asked me to give him the password to my bank and account info for him to get paid. Its probably a scam

Some idiot actually thinks I'm gonna answer a painfully obvious scam number ? RIIIIIIGHT.....

The same thing happened to me! Received a phone call from this number and a man who spoke broken English asked me if I remembered talking to him before. I said no and hung up. He called me back and I told him to take me off his call list. He said no, so I told him my number was on the Do Not Call list an hung up. He called again & I hung up. He called AGAIN and I started yelling & told him I was going to call the state police. He said, "I will f#*k you." I hung up and hopefully that is the end!

I have had several calls from this number. Usually no one speaks but today he said he was from windows and they had been getting urgent disturbing messages from my computer. I am pretty sure this is some sort of a scam and needs to be stopped.

I got a call from this number, he said he was from windows, I told him that he lied. I know he was lying because my caller id shows his number as 123-456-7899. He said that it was his internet phone. I told him that he lied again, he cussed at me so I cussed back then demanded to talk to his supervisor as he said he was at work.
I *57 the number and it said it traced the call. Hope he calls back as I want to trace it 2 more times so the cops will call on them.

Call from this number, rang, rang then some female said, hello then hung up! Idiots

I got this call recently and just told him I already had an I.T. tech who helps me maintain my computer. Had to repeat that several times before he hung up. I called my friend Mike who has his own I.T. business and maintains my computer. He said it is a scam, and a good answer would be "I thought Windows 8 was supposed to take care of that problem, that's why I got a new computer." If the caller says it doesn't, then he obviously doesn't have access to my computer and doesn't know what's on it. I don't have a new computer and don't have Windows 8 ! Just to be sure, I downloaded the latest version of my virus protection software from my Internet service provider's website - it comes free along with my Internet service.

"Windows Fix" Scam

I've been getting calls from this number, too. Please, everyone, register your phone numbers on donotcall.gov, the National Do Not Call Registry. Then, file a complaint, especially on numbers like this one which really concerns me - more than most. The registry works and I had stopped all nuisance calls until this popped up, this month.

I keep getting calls from 123-456-7899 and they are asking questions about the safety of my computer.  The guy doesn't speak english very well and when I told him never to call me again he said he was going to keep calling me!!!  How do you get rid of these annoying calls?

Yes I got the same call.  Told him it was a scam and I had a MAC and then I disconnected the call.

This man from (It sounded like India) called me with broken English.  Told me that he was from Windows and that he had recd data that my computer was about to crash and that I needed to go in front of my computer and he will walk me thru the details on how to fix it..  

This number called me and told me that he was calling from windows and that they got data to show that my computer is going to crash..  and that I needed to get in front of it so that he can walk me thru the details...  I hung up the phone..  He sounded like he was from India..  he had broken English.

I'm getting called from this number quite many times.

I say hello and the caller say nothing, sometimes he reply "Who are you?".

He talks in broken english.
like, "namaste aunty", "be my friend?", "come to my home" etc..

Please tell me what to do.

This is like a reverse 911 call on the ring and should be investigated.

I'm starting to think that there are bigger ppl that are connected to this so called number distortion.

most ppl that looked up these numbers, say its a land line. I think the bigger ppl behind this used a line that wouldn't link it back to them.  these are professional thieves, if they can buy out a cell phone company for our numbers. then they can be able to link to someone elses land line and use that as if its is the person that is making the calls. when in fact they are innocent. but then that saves their own a**es because. they dont have anything that links the calls back to them.
