124-304-7100, 124-304-7200, etc.
They've been calling me for days.... like every 3-5 minutes. That's why I'm here trying to find out who it is. It's driving me nuts. I get bill collectors calling but never before from this number. Could it be people doing surveys? I hate that!!

Why is an alleged legit company spoofing phone numbers? And how could everyone have the same reference number for different debt?

Got a call from another 124 #... it bothers me that they seem to be collection agencies... No-one here has any reason to be reffed to a collection agency :-O Now I'm scared... hope none of us have had our identities stolen or anything...

its a collectoins agency and they cant leave a msg if ur not the one theyre calling for... nor can they leave any info about the call...i work for a collection agency... as for them laughing that is kinda rude..

John Baker from the Takher Group has been leaving a "distressing" message on my machine telling me that it is very important that I return his call. The first couple of weeks I just deleted the call but after a month of his calls, I got angry and returned the call. I was told that my name would be deleted and the calls from this Baker person would cease. This should be the end of the story, but it is not.
The calls have continued from the Baker person and each time I call, a company representative tells me my name has been placed on a Do Not Call list. I am ready to join a suit against this company.

I'm curious where they are to have an area code beginning with a 1. I did an area code search and "124" was not found. Usually you have to dial a 1 to dial out of the country or to set up a long distance call. The number was on my caller ID but they left no message. They are probably a collection company because I built up a mountain of debt and I have no intention to pay.

They are a collection agency. They won't tell you why they are calling so you can take a message for whom the call is for. They are rude and laughed at me when I tried to take a message.

This number called 2x but left no message. This happened about a week ago as well.
