I bought a $10 SIM mobile phone card about three month ago . last week( 19th )  Idid phone the 1300 126 999 phone company . the company  gave a me a phone number .but the mobile phone does not work. I did phone many times and I sent them email many times. the 1300126 999 call HELLO MOBILE company still no replayed .thats no not right. thats robing money .just wants customers pay money .no service. pleaseI need the mobile company refund to me .my SIM card number is 89610 30000 09414 49693 G0082.,

today I had a call from 01269 790029. It was an Indian man, forgot his name... who was calling from Emergine media and was saying that I am in a price draw to win Ipad2 and also they have a promotion with LOVEFILM.COM that he created my account, so I could receive free dvd's for the next 30 days... All conversation was nice and easy, until he said I need the 16 digit debit card!! I asked: what is this for?? He said its just to finished the survey. So I just hang up... what an idiot...

they called me advising based in fulham. number shows up as out of area. the guy couldnt tell me where nearest train station was........

I forgot to mention the telephone numbers " Emerging Media Customer Services" who are also "PLay Republic.co.cuk" is 0844 318 2034. 0845 0261091 turns out to be "Rewards First" and 0845 0261093 is "Credit Rating Matters." I will keep you all posted and hopefully we can ALL get something done about these companies.

I too have fallen for this scam. I was offered a contract with Vodafone with a mobile. So foolishly went ahead with the transaction. (telesales guy sounded authentic). I received emails stating that my order had been dispatched only to receive a sim only contract sim. NO MOBILE PHONE!!! I contacted "Hello Mobile" or "PlayRepublic.co.uk" or "Emerging Media" only to be told that I was to contact Vodafone. This I did and without question Vodafone cancelled the contract immediately saying that I could place an order after 24 hours. I had £30 taken from my account without authorisation I was told it would be £2.29. Associated companies that are involved are "Rewards First" (apparently you pay a monthly subscription and get money saving offers) and "Credit Rating Matters" (again the same thing). Did I forget to mention you get the first month of both free?? DO NOT FALL FOR THIS LADIES AND GENTS. I am now in the process of reporting this and all associated companies to the office of fair trading and of course to Watch dog. These companies are the scum of the earth!!!

same happened to me today i had 2 payments of £30 took out my bank when only £2 was meant to be taken for  authorisation, i had done this for a friend as a favour, i did not give them any permission to take any more money  out of my bank and when my friend  was on the 4ne making the deal the did not even ask to speak to the card holder which is another illegal activity

same goes to me exactly they phone n said they will send me 2 phone, and they took 25 pound from my account as well, is there a way or their contact detail to phone them...i was so angry how dare they could do that

i had a call off a company saying they were playrepublic and they have taken ten pounds out of my account dont fall for it

This happened to me just last week aswell,they offered me a deal on 2 phones and a sim only plan,there was no mention of taking any money frm my account until I had received the items and got them up and running then I had 2 call them. I didn't think anymore about it,they've sent me a couple of emails saying the goods have been dispatched which I thought wud take an extra day or so I didn't thinkthat this would happen tho "they took ££££ from my bank account.I am a single parent and don't have much cash I was gutted,I phoned my bank and have reported it as a fraud, they are dealing with this issue on my behalf.Since this happened I've done a bit of research and found that the actual 'playrepublic.co.uk DOESN'T EXCIST!!! So ladies and gents just please b aware

this company hello mobile is working for a scam organisation called playrepublic.co.uk and say that they are working for major mobile companies asking if you would like to perchance a contract sim or phone.

BE AWARE ONCE YOU GIVE THEM YOUR DETAILS THEY WILL CREDIT YOUR ACCOUNT WITHOUT SENDING ANY ITEMS!!!!
