I am pre-paid with another carrier but got an SMS stating I owed $66.30 to OPTUS. Scam alright. OPTUS have 1500 numbers.

got a call late sat arvo 29/9/12 didnt pick it up as i dont know anyone from (02) area code.
called the number back lady voice activate message please call optus pay on 1300 309 309
wtf just paid bill

received a text september 2012 asking me to pay $426 to optus.. I have a pre-paid $30 voucher in place. This is definitely a scam.

why did i recieve a call asking me to ring Optuspay? There doesn't seem to be an optuspay on your site. what's going on?

It's Optus calling to remind you that your bill is overdue. I was late paying the bill and  i got this call too.

I got a call asking to talk to the account owner, if I am not the account owner press 1 then #. A recording message asking if the account owner is coming to the phone, if not, press 2 then #. So I did because my husband, the account owner wasn't home at that time. Then the recording tells me to get him to ring 1300 309 309 when he returns to discuss about paying the optus bill.

Funny this number is at the back of optus phone bills, it is the credit card pay number

Received message from a mobile number so seems suss.  

Don't do it just incase its a scam/fraud related message.

I got this call.

i got a message from this number. It claimed to be optus, but I couldn't find it in any optus directory/white pages etc.

Message claiming to be optus.  Claimed a bill needed to be paid by phone.  However, this message was sent to a prepaid number

I got too this message claim to pay 2.56 dollar to optus.and already a few months bored me whith this story,optus sai that they know nothing about it! So what we do now?
