Don't ever fall for easy excting and unbeliever schemes - they won't need to promote themselves if they were for real.... Trash it  Glad I went online to check this number out!  Guys, you who put this alert out on google, thanks a million...

I would suggest each of you visit www.collectionhouse.com.au this is a legitimate company trading on the Australian Stock Exchange and work on behalf of various clients. Many of the matters are quite old and may have been forgotten about. I would suggest that there is a reason they are contacting each of you, in some cases it may just be that you have a recycled number - either way call them and discuss it so you can arrange to have the messages stop.

I received a phone call from this number "debt collection for AGL" they told me for a property I rented with my ex partner 5 years ago. They put pressure on me to pay before 18 June to get a discount. I did not provide them with credit card details and told them to send me an invoice. They also gave me bpay details which I assume are fake as I did not get any invoice in the mail. They have since texted me asking me to call the 1300 number and quote SHANEL. I think this is a scam as I don't have any debt.

I just got the same call...i have no debts either and didnt give my details and told her to send me something in writing with a letterhead and she said goodbye "darl"....so not an indian comment i grew up in a high indian populated town....then i got the same sms a scam i think too

they claim to be Collection House, a debt collection agency based in Brisbane Queensland. They ring from a private number and send message from the above mentioned mobile number. The person who rings is an indian sounding woman who claims to be named Mary, and the texts give me a reference number and tell me to call Justin on the 1300 number.
I have never rang them as i know i have no debt since bankruptcy years ago and when i have spoken to them, the lady is always trying to confirm my details which i don't do, as well as trying to get me to give them a credit card number (despite telling them i was bankrupt and have no credit card) to pay a debt that i don't have and each time she rings me the debt amount is a different figure.
i have reported it to the actual company they apparently work for, they have no idea. i have reported it to ITSA who have no record of any other debts on me, and i who have reported it to AGL said they have no idea.
As far as i am concerned any contact from them is a scam and to be ignored.

These guys are jerks! Theyve been harrassing me for months over $50 from an apparent gas bill from over 5years ago, that was from a share house, bill starting from 3months after I had moved out!! They are now calling me on a private number instead of the previous number I had for them and leaving an automated voice mail!

they asked me to call them regarding "a personal business matter" and asked that I return their call and quote a ref no.
