Telemarketer trying to sell me a time-share holiday voucher thing...

Have received numerous calls from this 1300 number. I do not answer but am assuming it is some form of marketing which does not interest me.

This was some foreign telemarketer from a holiday club telling me I had won something. Knowing that as a rule I avoid all such scams and rarely enter contests using my official first name , I shut him down pretty quickly telling him I hadn't worked in 18mths and had no money to spend.

Must have gotten my number off my internet site or from another contest I entered.

Called ~5.45pm and early this morning.

awesome, just get them to send u a cheque. they already have your phone number so they must have your address too. no need to call, just mail it

they are very persistent... do not asnwer at all... or tell them you are not a resident, that works for 6 months!

Bloody hell, even if they told me that i'd won a million dollars I STILL WOULDN'T BELIEVE THEM!!! GRR!!!

They called me 3 times today. I couldn't hear what they were talking about so i just hung up. I wont be answering their calls again. Thanks.

they tried to call me twice, no messages left

i have asked wyndham vacation resorts numerous times to take me off their calling list. I have been recieving phone calls for about a year now, and the first time i recieved a call they ran me through what they were all about and asked me if i was over 25. I am 23 and they are only after people over the age of 25, so even though i dont qualify for whatever rubbish they are trying to sell they still continue to call!! i think best option is to get a new number, i dont think they will ever go away!

definitely a resort company called Wydham. They said I won $1000 to spend at their hotels. I told them I wasn't interested and to take me off their list. The caller was very polite and courteous which i find quite strange for a telemarketing company. I felt so guilty after shouting at them to go away lol.

Wydham vacation resorts have many different numbers (just got a call from them then!)...avoid 07 55121013 as well (or anything with 5512 as the proceeding number. They also call from private numbers. And even though they're not calling for me, it doesn't matter that i've told them heaps of times it's the wrong number! Someone needs to complain to the actual company...

Called twice within half hour. First time took a while to answer and when they did, couldn't hear me.
Second time no message left.

Getting calls from this number also. I answered and they hung up but they know my details name etc... which is a real concern!
I am worried that they might use this access to my phone to gain details to website etc that I go to.
I think we all need to be careful that they dont get our passwords etc. This is how these stupid cons start!

This number has called me every day for last 4 days - if I answer they hang up. I have added them as a contact called "Pest" and the ringtone for this contact is set to "Silent".

So far, have not talked to them.

Started getting missed calls from this no. When I answer, they hang up.  Have no idea.  they call heaps of times. I tried to contact directory but they could not give me the name because of privacy act, where is my privacy huh?? Where the heck did they get my number.

i did to but i finally answerd it it was to asian guys sayin i won two thousand in resort vouchers or something and asked me questions then he said he would put me on to there reward manager and walks the phone to him then i smelt bull s***

Yep,  the same number has been calling my phone non-stop, too. I refuse to answer. I figure if somebody is legitimately trying to contact me they'd have no issues with leaving me a message.

FYI another forum claims it has traced 1300-655-539 to Malaysia.
