Received a call from a male with an Indian accent, hard to understand, clearly in a call center stated he was in New York and the "global server was seeing errors on my PC and this is why it is running slow.  They were notified through Microsoft and the global server".  After directing me to the website "www.mypchelp.us" which had numerous spelling/grammar error, I asked for his name, phone #, and company name and would get back to him.  This is what he provided "Peter Young, (347) 305-2013, IFIX.  Of course the help they provide is free!

Got a call on May 6 from 51-833-4336.  I didn't answer. No message was left. Came up as Out Of Area.  Never answer calls from names and numbers you don't know, especially numbers with a "two digit area code"   I immediately blocked this number.

got call today.  Same story - going to help me stop errors coming from PC.  First claimed to be calling from microsoft, then said contracted by microsoft.  John from Qtech.  Reported to FBI.  I hope these people will be stopped.  Unfortunately not everyone is wise enough to hang up and are becoming victims of these scammers.

Same thing happened to me today.  Played along as long as you did then hung up.  This makes me sick!

I got a call a couple of nights ago from a guy who sounded like he was from India. He asked if I owned a computer. I told him I was not interested and to take my number off his call list, as I am on the no call list. I got the same phone call tonight from another guy who sounded like he was from India. I said you guys just called two nights ago and I told you to take my number off your list. He started arguing with me and said I had to listen to why he was calling. I laughed and said no I don't. He kept arguing with me. So I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager and he promptly hung up on me. The nerve of these scammers!

Received a call from 51-833-4336.  He said there were "errors coming from my computer" and he wanted to help me find them and wanted me to get on my computer.  I said I was calling the police and hung up.

Got a call from Thomas Durand 1518334336 stating something is wrong with my computer ( could hardly understand him) I said you dont know anything I dont even have a computer and hung up  LOL

I received a call from them today. We have received the scam calls before. This time I told her I don't have a computer. She says they must have called the wrong number. I doubt it will make it stop, but I tried.

I have received calls from 151-833-4336, caller ID 'unknown caller' twice.  The number looked suspicious to me and I did not answer.  No message was left on my machine.

Just got a call from an Indian sounding woman claiming my PC was infected but when I asked her specific information related to the infection I was told a the infection name was Trojon (yes spelled that way) and Spyware.  I asked her to give me the error codes and from what applications she wanted me to wait 10 minutes to get the information.  I then asked her to provide me with information about the IP address reporting the issues or the MAC address from the infected machine, and she gave me a 192.168.72.1 address which my network is not setup for.  At first she stated they were contacted by Microsoft to help people fix the issue but later stated they were microsoft certified technicians and not contracted by MS.  This is a big scam of some sort.  She rattled off another phone number quick and hung up at that point.

got called by this number 51-833-4336.  Had tones that made me think it was international.  Guy sounded from India. Inquired if I was using a PC with Windows XP just now and that they received a security threat.  Weird thing was I was just on a PC using that OS and it's usually not used.  I just said goodbye.

Got a call from this number 2-9-2014. Caller ID showed "Thomas Durand". Routed to voice mail, caller hung up.

Got a call from Asian-sounding woman at 151-833-4336, saying the "global server" (yeah, right) was seeing errors from my PC.  I asked for the IP address and she said 192.168.1.2, which would be a good guess, but my network is not set up as default so I knew this was a scam.  I played along and she finally wanted me to enter "www.mypchelp.us" in the RUN menu.  At that point I hung up on her.  They apparently have a script to read to you and get you to go to their site.  Who knows what evil lurks there?

Got call from this number. Went to answering machine. Caller hung up. Showed as  Out of Area, -51-833-4336.

Received a call from "Thomas Durand", phone number "51 833 4336". Didn't answer. The phone rang only once. Thanks for reporting this spam caller.

I got a random call from "Unknown Name" which sounded a lot like a dude calling me from a call center in India. The call sounded sort of like this: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2010/jul/18/phone-scam-india-call-centres but eventually I just hung up.
