I got calls the last two mornings at around 6:15 a.m. I stayed on the line this morning until the Asian-speaking woman came on the line. She began by saying something about my Windows computer. I was curious so I told her to keep talking. She immediately hung up. I wonder if they do that so the call can't be traced. Don't know.
Anyway, I have one of those Panasonic phones that can block calls and added that number to the list. If/when she calls back, she'll get a busy signal.
BTW, if you're interested in a Panasonic telephone  that can block calls ( there are several models), mine is KX-TG4733. Works very well.

I got a call from this number at 5:00 am. I didn't answer. Mother f****rs! Lately, unknown numbers have appeared on my phone screen at odd hours. This has happen after I registered online for some company.

Same a-hole called my house several times.  1/9/14 he called at 5:55am.  Maybe it is a punk kid using someone else's line during idle hours.  I also could not trace this, but maybe it is. Skype from Liverpool or Canada.

These idiots called at 5;45 AM. Geez!!!!!! I didn't answer. I knew it was a scam of some sort. Starting with an incomplete phone number on the caller id. No message was left on my answering machine. I see they are trying to hack people's computers. Ha Ha I rarely answer the landline, especially if I don't recognize the number. Plus I have heard about this scam and my computer is a mac. No windows. I often wonder how many people are pulled in by these scammers. It's sad.

Same call with the same symptoms this morning. I knew it is a scam but decided to play a game with the guy. I have several computers so I asked him which computer has downloaded a malicious software. He could not answer. I asked for the name of the computer. Obviously, he did not know. I asked how do they monitor installation. He said that the malicious software sends some messages to them. I took that as a confession of "planting a virus" into my PC. I asked him how does he feel about obvious violation of privacy from his part. The guy apparently had not idea what I am talking about. I demanded not to call it again and hung up. I am going to block this number.

Same as for others, a man speaking very bad Henglish informed me that my computer had downloaded malicious software.
I ask him if he realized he'd called an IT pro who knew for a fact he was spouting BS. He denied that it was BS, at which point I informed him that he was committing fraud & that I would report it to the FTC ... He hung up.

I get a lot of calls about my windows system having issues. I have started to yell in the phone at the top of my lungs, the most blood curling scream,so loud that my throat hurts. Oops they are probably wearing a headset.
I do not feel bad at all especially when some calls are at 6 am.

got a call from this number 6:45 am the name on the ooma id says ( OWEN SOUND ON ) but like most unwanted calls I get they just hang up which ill never understand, my husband said oh they are just collecting numbers so they can sell them. well if EVERYONE hangs up when they call what is the point. yes I called back but got that constant busy sound.

Called at 5:39 AM, let answering machine get it.  No message left.  Caller ID says "OWEN SOUND ON"

Called @ 7:00am.  Caller ID said Owen Sound On

Called and left no message.  

Jason, I have a panasonic phone that allows me to block 30 numbers.  Look up Panasonic & they have quite a few phones with this feature.

Received a call today at 6:30am - hard to understand the accent. Caller said something about out computer downloading something from a virus filled website and it would damage computer.

Got a call from the Injuns this morning at 0630.  Gave them the same advice Dick Cheney gave Sen. Pat Leahy on the floor of the US Senate, "Go f... yourself."

Apparently, there is no extradition for computer crimes committed against Americans by Indians who flee home.  The Indians ripped off the City of New York for $700MM but they cannot be extradited.  

Next time you want software written, have it done by Americans in the USA.

got call before 6:30 AM.  Indian accent woman said my computer is constantly downloading something and she can help me.  wanted me to log on.  she said it was an emergency.  clearly a scam.

Got a call 8:00 AM, Person with Indian accent, telling me my windows OS has been compromised, and that he would assist me so my system would not crash.  Cleary a scam.

Had a phone call from 151-947 7485  at 7:15 am ( I was not happy)
Person calling said hello a few times and nothing else then I hung up the phone.
Person probably not aware of the time in Nova Scotia ,Canada.

Call the phone calling report the number and Scam. Maybe they can stop this.

I received many calls from this number. The first time they told me that some one was able to get in to my computer and has all my information stored on it. They asked me to send them $500, to fix the problem. I told them that I would call them the next day. At 9 AM the next morning they called m,e. When I told them that my computer was fine, they insisted that my computer had been compromised, and they are willing to fix it. This time they gave me a discount: $300. Naturally, I told him (the Indian) to go to hell.
He has not stopped calling, and I just hang up.

I have received multiple calls from this scam artist claiming he is from Windows which of course there is no such thing.
He is a thief and a low life and I am ready to wring his neck if I ever get my hands on him or her.

I keep getting at least 3 calls a night at very early hours waking me up. There must be a way to block their numbers? Caller Id numbers are: 214-161-8166 or 151-947-7485

Received a call at 5:30 this morning and needless to say when your phone rings that early you expect bad news. Isn't there something that can stop them from calling so early? Who can you  report them to. On the do-not-call list but obviously it does no good.

So how do we send these people to jail?

I got the same call, I told him he had tried this once and there was nothing wrong with my computer he hung up.:0)

I too got a call at 6:49 am today saying my windows has been breached from the same broken accent Asian/Indian person.  I informed him it was not and the law that no one is allowed to call before 8:00 am.  They have called me Saturday morning too at 7:00 but this one was a female.  This is not their first attempt to reach me.  Glad to hear I am not the only one.  Don't give him any information people.  Everyone beware!

call at 6:45 am today ,told me my computer had crashed.I got a name Richard and another number (1403800763)and I told him I call him back
I turned the computer on and there is nothing wrong with it, Running Norton Scan just to be sure.

Called my wife and said windows was going to crash. Told her to hang up. Called back and I answered and told him not to call my house again. Indian accent. It's definitely a scam, if you didn't request service and someone calls, hang up.

I receive a call from this number and Asian accent saying that he was from windows that our computer was going to crash. I think they are trying to gain power to get in our systems to get total control of our computers.I hanged up and they call back I didn't answer be careful with this types of calls

Received a call from this number sounded like an Idian accent saying that my computer was going to crash and wanted me to go to it. I hung up. Have received two calls from same number.
