All they have to do is plumb in a set of numbers from A-Z in dialers or computers. They don't have to obtain them from anyone.  Doing that doesn't recognize unlisted numbers..

yet another idiot call from fictitious number; still amazed at how these morons get an unlisted number - which I have - think it might be through the surruptitious government - since they have completely gone off the rails - if they were ever on them!

Phone rang at 230 pm, number left was 1-800-000-000. A voice mail was left "if you are the person who was home at the time of delivery press 1, if you were not at home during the delivery press 9".  

A warning to the above submission from ladyvaasa, and all others who receive an anonymous call from an unknown sender informing you that you have won/awarded money. It is a scam, if you enter a draw for a boat and you receive a call stating that you have won the boat listed on the ticket you hold, they YES, you have won; other than that type of WIN situation, disregard it. Don't call them back because then they have you. To think that you will be winning an exponential amount of free money, NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. It is sad but there are plenty of individuals out there looking to RIP YOU OFF. Don't get caught in a trap, don't give out your private info, don't accept emails/calls from people you don't know.  Always be wary, don't live in fear, but just be cautious.

Yup, it's a SCAM.  They called me twice.  The last time they said to go to website vzw265 .com.  It's a good copy of the site, but indeed if you hover over the "Sign In" button it says Zulu956.startdedicated .com and not verizonwireless.com (which is the correct site.)  When I searched on the age of the vzw265 website it said it was Zero days old!!!

I just got a call from this number and was so scared cause right before something weird happened on snapchat and I'm just a teen. I'm going to tell my mom but I feel weird about everything .

They left me a voice mail that said to go to a website vzw200 .com . When you go it's a real Verizon site but don't be fooled!! When you hover over the sign in button to get your discount the link is for a complete different site like Zulu .com

POSTED WANT TO NO IF IT'S FRAUD

CALLED AND SAID THEY WOULD TAKE 135.00$ OFF OF NEXT BILL..SAID IT WAS VERIZON AND TO CONTACT A WWW. SOMETHING,DIDN'T GET IT ALL. IS IT FRAUD?

I got a couple calls today from this number and it was cutting out on the msg. I believe it was the RCVD or something like someone said above... I really couldnt understand them because it was cutting out. They said something about $450 and to log into my account and then something about verizon. I pretty much figured out it was scam instantly because I no longer am with verizon as of a month ago. Plus the connection was horrid. Do not go to whatever website they are saying!

Just got a call today... Called SPRINT... They had no clue what that number could be. I recommend not picking it up. No message = Not Urgent!

I received the exact same call at 11:30 am today and I called AT&T directly to verify. They said they have absolutely no record of any calls- even automated- sent to me today, and if they had contacted me for even a promotional reason there would be a record of it. They said it is almost assuredly a phishing scam, and advised me not to enter my info. I asked if the information about this scam would be passed on though he proper channels and I was assured it would be, so hopefully they will contact their customers and make them aware of this scam before too many people become victims!

I got a call from this number telling me I got $660 taken off my next att bill and to get it I had to visit www.att660.com . I googled it to see what it was all about and there was absolutely nothing which is even more terrifying than getting a scam call.

Rcvd call at 9:35 pm saying it was our cell phone carrier and we've just been credited $450 into our acct as a Christmas gift and we could log on to check.  Think I'll just call tomorrow.

I have had this call on my cell, too. Five times 5 min. apart. But only 180, with no zeros afterward. Also get 610

Just got another call from them.  They would not identify who they were or where they were calling from.  They wanted to know if we would support a certain Montana state initiative.  If we would support it they wanted to send an absentee ballot.  We didn't fall for it.  Talked to the local county election office and was told the Feds are investigating since it appears to be voter fraud.

Have had same thing 5 times in past 2 days at all hours of day up to 8:55pm.

Evening call from "out of area."  No one on the other end, and the call was then disconnected.
