Keep get calls from 831-607-9227 stating it is attorney Kevin Peterson and I owe money over a $1000 but will settle out of court for $593.Also getting calls from Attorney Daniel Paige from the same number.Calling me at work threatening criminal action. For the same thing. They are calling me at work and home.had to block the number both places.

guy had lots of personal information, think they are hackers and scammers...hope the get caught, called saying he was peter adams, thick indian accent, apparently I had a payday loan, and now I owe 700 dollars...never even had a loan in the state of PA. Pray for them please...hope this helps someone else...also leave a 215 number to call back on...

They keep calling about a payday loan, I've never had one at all, and threaten legal action. Everyone I've talked to has an accent but uses celebrity names, Emma Watson, James Madison, ect.

They called me from 1810676161 saying i owe 498 dollars from an online application from california.  I do not use payday loans.  THey said if i do not pay it i will be arrested on monday.  They also left this number to call them back at 8053224573.  I am positive i dont owe any money.  So what should i do?  Call the cops or just ignore this person?

STARTED GETTING CALLES ON THANKSGIVING SAYING I OWE A PADAY LOAN 600.00 CALLED INSTANT CASH. I DO HAVE A LOAN. BUT IS PENDING IN CHAPTER  13 REPAYMENT LOAN. Talked to "3" different men - Pretty sure it was the same gut. Heavy Indian accent. First called himself Jack Dawson, the last was Francis Lopez. Threatened me with jail, losing my disability payments, federal offenses. Said I had to be in CA on Monday morning. I live in PA! He was very rude and told me I owed a payday loan which was originally $400 but now supposedly I owe $1200. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!! DO NOT PAY A DIME!!! Gave me a number to call and it would not connect.

Same thing today. I called them back very threating and abusive. They do use american names but can understand half of what they say

This guy with a very stong india accent by the name of Paul Walker called my work # leaving a threating message that he is with an attorneys office & he needs to speak to my attorney & it will be in my best interest if I call him back, so I call him back & he is telling me that I owe his co $898.00 & he will pursue legal action if I can't. Then he wants me to "FAX" him my debit card # along with a letter from me apologizing for this whole thing & saying it will be taken care of & he wants it notorized & said that this letter is even more important than the $$$.  I told him I want some kind of proof like a letter head from this company & he got all flustered & said no no we cant do that, you just need to fax your debit card info & this "Notorized" letter to us. I could'nt tell what company he said he is calling about because his accent is so THICK!

I keep getting calls from this number and I have never taken out a loan from any kind of fast cash place or for any loan.  What is the deal with this person.  Can someone please help with this.

They keep calling me on my cell and at work and I just tell them they have the wrong number and hang up, they dont call back.

Got a bunch of calls...East Indian Accent...says a criminal suit has been filed in NY for non-payment of a pay day loan....646-374-3983,  810-675-560...are among the numbers left...same MO...even wishes you luck and says God Bless..

I'm receiving calls from the SAME exact people that all of these poor victims are. What scares me is that he has my info. I think i'm going to put an alert on my social security number. Is there anyway to block them from calling me or using my information?

I received the same type of call today at my work.  The guy, that I could barely understand because of his accent, said his name was Kevin Peterson and that he worked for the Law Office of James Parker.  The number he called from was 209-856-6412.

He called me friday and today, Monday, said his name was Kevin Jones. He threatened me that he would would send someone to the elementary school where I work to arrest me infront of all the kids. My mom told me to buy a wistle and blow it in his ear when he gets on the phone. I called the police but they were no help. They said there was nothing i could do and I needeed to contact who ever he said he was with. I dont remember, but I never took out a payday loan.

Just received the same phone call from the 810-676-161 number. Same two people with accents. they stated that I had taken out a loan and did not pay them back, they also stated that if I did not resolve it they were going to press charges with the State of California. I knew this was some sort of scam once I saw the phone number. The only information they had was my name, phone number, and email address. Please do not give any of these people any information. Thanks to this website I confirmed thius was a scam. Also, on the Cash Connect website they also have a fraud alert.

The guys name is KEvin Peterson.  DO NOT pay him any money. He is a scam artist who is trying to get your credit card information.  He called me and told me he was from Payday Loan.  I have never applied for a loan in my life.  He said I owed him over 700.00 dollars.  DO not pay him.  He is a liar.

I am getting calls from this 181-068-6161 number and they are saying I owe them 900.00 dollars.And the only way I can keep myself out of jail was to fax a paper admitting that I took a loan out in Nov of last year. And I could pay them back in payments on the 1st of ever month. But they did not give a good call back number. He is a liar and I have not taken a loan out for 900.00 dollars.

I was getting this call at work and on my mobile phone.  He was very threatening, and said his name was "Jack Anderson."  He told me to call him back at 310-598-1769, and when I did, it went straight to a generic sounding voice mail.  He asked for either me or my "retained attorney" to call him back. He told me that if I didn't call him back he can only "wish me luck while the situation unfolds on (me)."  This seemed like a scam, so I did call him back and had my "attorney" call as well.  We both left stern messages about not calling again.  Hope this helps someone!

yeah this guy changes his name all the time he said that he was Daniel Martinez but i know that is not his name.  I took out a payday loan and he said that they were suing me for 996.46 for none payment even though i have made a payment arrangement with them. they called my phone 60 times one day while i was at work, then the next day while i was at school they called me 30 times. they leave messages saying that you have to give them your credit card number or a debit or pre-paid card for them to settle it out of court but they don't take money orders no real business turns down money orders.  they are full of crap.  I even called my loan place and said that they have been calling people who haven't even taken loans with them telling them that they were suing them. She said do NOT give them any information.

Caller keeps calling me saying that I owe lots of money on a payday loan and calls me over 20 times a day...This is a scam!!!! Do not fall for this!!!!

Not only are they calling from this number they are calling from 215-279-5922 and 215-383-5677 in 8 minutes they called me 15 times now you can imagine how many times a day they call !!!!!
The person that contacted me was an Allan Parker and the person that leaves the message is a Jack Johnson and then when you call back there is no such person. make sure that you dont provide nor confirm any personal information for they have your personal information make sure that you file a report with your credit report company if they have your personal information god knows what they can do with that !!!

I get the same person. He says I have a law suit and I need to send him my phone number and my social to download my case. I get the same endingd wishing me good luck and the guy is calling from an off-shored number anyway. What a Jerk!

same call: recorded message, from indian subcontinent accent.  Sort of dumb calling a governmental agency. Told to call 949 202-4689.  Gave name of Doug Fletcher.  I get about one call a day.

I got a call at my job today (and how they got that number dont' know, because i am just a temporary here and dont' give out the number), said his name was John Wilson, but last week when he called my cell he was Mark Parker. He said he was with Cash Connect, which I have never  heard, looked them up and they have a claimer on their website, saying someone is fraudulantly using their name to try and get money. Cash Connect is an ATM business they don't give out loans. He tried to get me to verify my social, and i told him no, whatever he has he can mail to me, but told me no time for that. I hung up, he called back and I told him to stop calling my place of business, he laughed and said he going to keep calling, he hung up. he called me for 20 minutes straight before stopping finally. On cash connect they had a link to the FBI, so i reported him.

I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AFTER THE IDIOT CALLED ME LIKE 20 AT WORK, AND NO ONE GREETED ME WITH  HELLO THIS IS SUCH AND SUCH, THE FOREIGN GUY SAID HELLO HOW CAN I HELP YOU? I HUNG UP BECAUSE IF THIS WAS A BUSINESS THEN THEY WOULD HAVE IDENTIFIED THEMSELVES AS ONE. ITS A SCAM GUYS..
