I got a call from this number at 01:03 AM. It rang twice and then there was no one on the line.
If this is one of the Ramada calls for a vacation offer I hope they get my number out of their cycle quickly.
Ramada corporate claims this is a franchise from the Carabian and they have no control over their advertising programs or methods. Corporate needs to tighten up their franchise contract so they have some control.
What seems to happen is this francisee buys names and phone numbers and calls like crazy offering great deals. If you say no they keep calling. Unfortunatly there is a group of marketers that follow a program that says most sales are made after you call the person five times and a call only counts if someone answers the phone.
So they call until they have talked to someone six or seven times. Of course they are using cheap labour from a third world country so the cost of the calls is minimal.
It must work because this francisee has been doing this for years.
By the way you get what you pay for. The hotel is a two star at the best and the cruise they include is basicly a rusted out ship that has a very extensive casino setup and not much else to do during the three day time spent on the ocean.
Unfortunatly offshore calls are not regulated by anyone, but calling at 1 AM is something I have not ran into from them before.
Hope this helps someone.

We received a call from this number during dinner hour tonight. After some stammering by the caller, he said that he had a wrong number and hung up. There were a lot of people talking in the backgroung.

I received a call from 187-745-3059. The caller said he was representing Ramada Inns and proceeded to ask questions. The whole time there was a loud clicking on the line, so it was hard to understand everything he said. He asked if I was married and if I had ever been to the USA. He then asked if I use Visa or American Express when on vacation. I asked what this was all about and he hung up.

I don't see how you could do a callback to an invalid phone number (187 is a non-existant area code).

After I found it was an unauthorized number I did a "call back". The phone was answered by a lady
who said----- you have called the offices of Florida Bahama Cruise Vacations.
