I recieved the same call with a Message from a Gentlemen with an Indian Accent telling me he was from Capitol One and I had been approvded for 10k loan via thier on line loan application.  I did not fill anything out and I am and will continue to ignore these calls and delete the message.  I also put a fraud alert on my credit to be sure any new Credit requires a call to my phone number and in person ID Check.

Damn. I just got scammed

I receive a call from this number daily and everyone has an Indian accent but an American name, telling me I have been approved for loans of different amounts. How can I block these calls?

I just received a similar call on my voicemail. The caller was "Kevin Johnson". I believe this is the same person that goes by "Kevin Taybor" that I hit a couple months ago, except he was calling from "fraud investigation" or something like that. He became very obnoxious when I would neither confirm nor deny anything he was asking and I started asking for his information. I ignored his calls bc they stopped by the end of the day. Both times the caller was initially asking for a "Christina", but I think he got MY name from my voicemail greeting ?. I have since then removed my name from my vm greeting!

Kevin Barker from Capital One... they had my work number.  Total scam becase the text message that they sent was from a different number and from a "Mary" stating that the same thing.  

Since Capital One confirmed this is a scam, ignore/block the calls.  Put a fraud alert on your credit reports by calling one of the reporting companies and reporting this.

I have received many calls from this number stating that they are with Capital One Corporation. They state that I have been approved for a $10,000 loan. They had all of my personal information and I found this suspicious because I have not filled out an application for a personal loan with Capital One. I contacted Capital One and was told that they are not offering any personal loans at this time. I am nervous because this person has all of my personal information and I am afraid that they are trying to do something fraudulent with my information.
