Yet another call from my wannabe telemaggoter friends. As with the last call, the id claimed it was a survey.

Automated call for lowering credit card interest.  Puts you on hold.   Finally a guy named Steve picked up.

I told him he must like to suck c**** since he had such little respect for himself to take such an intrusive job that pisses everyone off so much.  He hung up.  Then I put him on my call rejection list.  

Hoping that if enough people will insult the sob that he will get tired of the rejections.  It's got to be disheartening to have people repeatedly demean him.

I certainly agree with your comment. instead of getting agitated what I do is play dumb and ask them to help me how to find the information they need, once I wasted their time I provide them with the FCC Consumer Inquiries and complains department address. If they misunderstand it with my address is not my fault. =)

This place was looking to hire some young children to star in a movie. They offered $10,000 cash for 5 days. Sounds like pedophiles to me.

added it to my phone's call block feature (rings once, hangs up) some time ago, still get called from them 2+ times a week.

What I think would be nice is if we could hire an "off duty" mob enforcer to find them and play with their knee caps...  While yelling, "wrong number, wrong number. You called the WRONG number!"

When I get these call from this or any other spammers I add them to my contact list.  The contact is name "Do not answer".  This contact has a home, work, cell, etc number saved in my phone so I can quickly look down and know to ignore it.  Figure if they try often and get no pick up they will stop eventually.

I just got a call from these scamming jerks.  I asked who she worked for and she replied "Card Services", I asked again saying that I know that isn't a real name, that is their department and she said they go by "Card Services".  I asked which cards they serviced and she named them all.  I asked for a call back number, saying that I was in the middle of something and she gave me this number: 800-254-6300 which told me that i had won a free cruise.  When I pressed 3 that there was something else i wanted to talk to them about, the recording said that their people were too busy to talk about anything else and hung up.  When I called back, it just hung up.  I called once more and it just hung up.  Seriously, we need to do something about places like this.

These clowns are calling here constantly. They are being blocked by Nomorerobo, so the phone only rings once each time they try. Have to wonder, what is the point?

They call several times a week, even though they have been told not to call. A real PITA.

Survey / credit cards / LI closers / Florida / call centers / spoofed numbers / debt collectors / Convergys networks / Funny, I received the same call, I do pick up though but never press any automated press number BS questions. I don't care where or how the spoofed / call center number shows, it's just another bunch of scammin', scummin' Oink! Oink's!

Received a call from 201-243-3402.  I've received calls from this number several times in the past and the caller id in the past has always been 'Bayonne NJ'.  This time the caller id was 'SURVEY', so I guess they're trying different stuff to see what might entice someone to pick up.  

I really wish people would stop falling for these scams.  That's the only way these calls will ever stop.

I haven't any credit cards, since they were asked to be given back.  Why do they keep calling me.  I am disabled and I am startled by the phone ringing all hours of the night.  This has to stop!!

Caller ID was v040213261200042. I let her lead me through the the credit questions. I asked who she worked for and she said American Credit Assistance and they worked with VISA, MasterCard and Discover. I said so, if I call MasterCard they will confirm that you work with them. She said yes. I said and if I Google American Credit Assistance that will be confirmed. She said yes. I said well how come then when I Google that name I get "Beware of credit card assistance scams" and she said "hmmm" and hung up. There is, of course, no such company.

The only cardservices I know is a company that was handling MLM type visa cards issued by Melelucca some years ago. TRhe call showed up as survey on caller id so they are certainly trying to scam by bypassing any call block or dnc features.

You'll be surprised how many times a day someone falls for this scam. Hence, why we all continue to get these calls, because stealing is profitable to them. As long as people continue to fall for this scam, the more calls we all recieve.

Folks. Never ever provide perfonal information over the phone. STOP IT! Telemarketing calls are illegal and report the calls and warn others. And obviously it is not a SURVEY!

If you recieve an illegal call, do not call the number back and do not press a button. Scammers use robo dialing to call numerous victims. Pressing any buttons or calling the number back validates your number,  which could mean more calls.

If they didnt leave a message, it it is a telemarketing call, ignore it. report it. warn others.

Usual recording about lower credit card rates in spite of being on Do Not Call.  An interesting tidbit from the DNC website: "Hang up the phone. Don't press 1 to speak to a live operator or any other key to take your number off the list. If you respond by pressing any number, it will probably just lead to more robocalls."  So much for opting out.

I don't have any credit cards so I do not need or want any of your services.  You need to stop calling me.  I am ON the NO CALL LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This company calls numbers on the national do not call registry in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. In addition, they play a recorded message without an operator on the line in violation of the TCPA. They use an automated dialer to call, and do not nave an operator on the line when the phone is answered, another violation of the TCPA. Their recording claims that they have important information about lowering your interest rates on your credit cards and that this is your second and final warning (it is not second, nor final, nor a warning, nor do they have an offer to reduce your card rates) and that you must press one to talk to an operator. This is clearly a scam and a phishing attempt to get your personal information and credit card numbers. Do not provide these scammers with any information.

I did the same thing...lol It doesn't work and the person I started to talk to sound southern...lol They hung up after the air horn went off in their ear....lol

I tried to be nice but I have had it!!!!,   I used a boat air horn in a can I hope I have damaged someones ear drum...lol

Caller ID is v032812194200042. Every time it is a different v number so it isn't worth adding the number to the block list.
