I doesnt matter if you are on a do-not-call list. If you GAVE playboy your phone number they are allowed to call because you already established a business relationship. I have found the only way to stop it is to listen... then say...NO! and of course I dont EVER put my phone number on any form

This is a telemarketing call from DialAmerica.  They are calling about renewing your subscription to Playboy Magazine.

I recently received another call from a similar number 201-257-4089 about renewing my subscription to Marvel comics.

DialAmerica is a major telemarketing corporation.  I believe they're either a corporation who has received commissions from Playboy and Marvel to get people to renew their magazines/comics or they're a subsidiary of a mega-corporation doing the telemarketing for all the companies under the mega-corporation.

Getting calls from this number will not leave a message. Blocked their calls.

They called tonight..I hung up they called back 3 times. Man's name was Mark and he said I could not speak for my husband and ask them to quit calling. I asked to talk to his supervisor and he took the phone and said his name was Mr Blow. As I was explaining Marks rude behavior Mr Blow..blew very hard into the phone. What kind of marketing is this? These guys are unreal

Recived calls from (201) 257-4064.  Caller ID was Conde Nast.  First call was a woman who wanted to speak to <insert First Name, Last Name>.  I told them that the person they wanted was not home and asked to take a message.  They said they didn't want to leave a message, thanked me and hung up.  Second call, same number and Conde Nast caller ID, I let the answering machine pick up.  Only dial tone on the aswering machine.

Probably a telemarking call for one of the following magazines asking for a re-subscription.

The call all the time at different times of the day. Thank goodness we have called ID and just let the phone ring. WE do have to get up to see what idiot is on the phone. We are also on the famous "DO NOT CALL" list, what a joke that thing is.

I don't subscribe to Playboy.  They must make calls for other magazines too.  Redbook, Budget Traveler etc..  All of mine are about to expire.  But to call on a Sunday afternoon during dinner is so wrong. And yes, I am on the do not call list!

They not only call for Playboy Magazine, but they also called me on another number (201-257-4089)regarding RENEWING MARVEL COMIC BOOK SUBSCRIPTIONS.  I just got their billing invoice today.  I looked them up.  DialAmerica is a major telemarketing corporation.  I think the company(s) that own the magazines/comic books are outsourcing their marketing to this company or it's a subsidiary of a mega-corporation directly responsible for telemarketing for this mega-corporation.

yes they can call you if you have done business with them in the past.
ASK them not to call. That is all you need to do

stop friggin calling

Have been getting calls at least once a day from this number. We've been ignoring the calls, but then they don't leave a message. Just now I picked up to see if I could get them to remove our number from their list.

Wouldn't you know, they wanted to know if my father wanted to renew his Playboy subscription. I told the girl that if he wanted to renew, he would do it directly with the magazine and he is not interested in placing orders over the phone. She then said that she'd remove our number from their list.

Stephen, as a side note, if you cancelled, they would probably still contact you to get your business back. I had Rolling Stone call me non-stop when I let my subscription run out and didn't renew. You have to actually say "Please remove my number from your calling list."

I let my subscription expire because I don't want it any more. How can I stop this ? If I cancelled , they no longer have a business connection to me do they ?  Get a new President in office so the Do Not Call list will work again !

I wish they would at least leave a message, but I think it is from playboy they are too expensive and my hubby and I arent skinny and hot anyway who needs it lol

Call my home 3 times a day.  Every day & never leave message.

I wish that they would stop calling my home...it's annoying!  When I answer the phone or if the machine gets it, the results are the same...a hang up.  I want to go through the phone and ring someone's neck.  : )

This number showed up last night. 1-201-257-4064. Rang 4 times but nobody was there when I picked up the phone. Late at night,very irritating!

This number showed up on me tonight. When I answered the phone, it was a magazine rep wanting my husband to renew his Playboy subscription.

Calls repeatedly, I always miss the call so I don't know what they want. They never leave a message. I am going to block the number.
