Ugh! These people are relentless! This number comes up twice a day (between 8-9 am and then again in the evening, 6-7 pm). I don't answer the phone when I see the called ID and don't know the number. They never leave a message. It seems you all figured out it was a company trying to get you to renew subscriptions to magazines. I have two magazines that don't expire until 2016. I ordered them through The partnership @ Drugfree.org. I've never heard of Future Us. It's really annoying and wish they would take the hint. I guess I could start answering it and just mess with them.

Constant multi-day calls from Future Us according to caller ID. Never leaves a message, nor does it ring enough times for the machine to intercept. Last call this AM at 9:45 on 12 October.

I know who Future US is. They are a magazine publisher. Guess they're calling because I let my "Maximum PC" expire. They also do a Mac magazine, which goes better with my current computer.

Caller ID says UNAVAILABLE. So...I get a call from this number every single day for the past 3 weeks. I finally did the research and found out that it is from Future US which is a magazine subscription company. I let my subscription to Crochet Today! magazine lapse because I did not find it useful. I was of course bombarded with email and mail renewal requests that I did not respond to because...I did not want to renew it. Then I guess they sic their phone service on you to make you renew. Hey..I thought I was clear when I didn't renew months ago that I do not want this magazine..I don't need a daily call to try to "win me back". That just has the opposite effect. Now I am SURE I do not want to renew. I sent them an email asking them to quit calling. They call anywhere from 9 am to 5 pm every single day..weekends included. http://www.futureus.com/ go to the SHOP area and see if a magazine you let lapse is there and you'll know why they are calling. Then you have to go to that magazine to contact them and get them to quit calling you.

Got a call from them today. Came over on Caller ID as Future US. Did not answer. Did not renew some magazines this year because I don't want them anymore.

sam 2012-03-16 18:34:55 Unknown
Future US? That's a new one for me. Wasn't home, they left no message. Wouldn't have answered anyway.
Greg 2011-11-19 15:49:47 Unknown
Future US is a magazine publisher (www.futureus.com). If you've recently cancelled a subscription or just not renewed, that's what they are calling about.

I keep getting calls from this number but there is never anyone there. They call at least once a day. What is with the do not call list? I have reported this number to them but guess it really doesn't work.

these idiots have been calling me 4 or 5 times a day according to caller ID
I have not answered and will not now that I know what they are.

I hate these type of calls. If I want a magazine I'll send in the stupid little card!

I answered the phone, the automated voice gave their phone number too quickly for me to write it down. They then said they were Future US, this was a telemarketing call, and they would call back.

I thought we were on the government's "no call" list for solicitors. I don't want to be bothered by this Future US crap. How can we get them to stop calling?
JP 2010-07-01 23:33:39 Unknown
These are scam calls. If you don't who the caller ID is DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE!!! The latest scam is for you to answer the call and the dirtbags tie up your phone line with a denial of service even though you hear a dial tone. So I repeat if you don't recognize the ID DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE !!! IF no one answers the calls these idiots will have to find another scam to work on....

Rec'd calls from this # twice recently. I don't answer; I assumed from the caller ID that it was political. Now that I am reading comments that say it is a magazine calling about subscriptions, it makes perfect sense: we canceled three subscriptions recently. I'm sure they've found our phone number somehow and want to badger us back into giving them money.

They call constantly, and when I see them on caller ID, I send it to voice mail. They never leave a voice mail. I never pick up.
Annoying, sure, but I can keep this charade up longer than they can.

Calls and never leaves a message.

This afternoon I was called (again) and I finally decided to pick up the phone and ask them to stop calling. When I did, I said hello, and whoever was on the other end of the line hung up. I won't bother picking up the phone if they call again.

These people call from a company called Future US and leave no message. Glad to hear it is to renew magazines because now I know I won't pick it up.

Recieve calls several times a day, sometimes at 9pm.

I got this call while updating my MySpace page. I've been phished on MySpace. Been getting harassed, all because of some psycho on game apps. When I first looked up this number in the search engine, it freaked me out.
Because Houston, TX came up (where a lot of the suspicious profiles are popping up. Funeral Homes, and battered women places popped up. IDENTITY THEFT.
They have been messing with my friends. And one of my friends, sound like her identity may havebeen stolen...another friend myseriously has no moe internet or phone, and says charrges are being pressed (she hasn't been able to elaborate).
Those things could be unrelated. But the fact I blocked a cookie from a place called doubleclick, while updating MySpace...and the phone rang. Has got me REALLY SCARED
Steve 2008-04-12 15:12:48 Unknown
The number showing on the caller ID isn't listed on Future US website. Might be a scam. They have no company in NJ.
Amanda 2008-03-20 23:24:43 Unknown
Call everyday without leaving a message, am getting really annoyed with them. How long does it take them to get the hint and stop calling?
Russell 2008-03-09 15:59:04 Telemarketer
Future US is the publisher of several special-interest magazines including PC Gamer. The web address with their contact info is at http://www.futureus-inc.com/contact/index.php

My husband answered a call from FUTURE US. It had something to go with renewing a PC Gamer subscription. Shouldn't PC Gamer be the ones calling?

I received a mysterious call from this number today. I let the caller ID pick it up before I answered. I didn't recognise the number, and it said 'unknown name.' I decided to answer it, and when I did, there were two people in mid conversation.
Person 1 : Yeah...
Person 2 : I'm not exactly sure where it's at...
Then silence.
I'm still not sure what just happened.
