they are a collection company.. i would just block the numbers and never answer.. thanks guys

I have a second line on my phone with a number that is NOT publisheD and has NEVER been given out to a single person. I receive daily calls from this company (that uses multiple phone numbers). No response to my answering the phone, and never leaves a message.

THIS IS A SCAM BECAUSE THEY ARE CALLING TO A PHONE NUMBER THAT HAS NEVER BEEN USED. WHICH MEANS THEY ARE USING AN AUTOMATED SYSTEM OF RANDOM PHONE NUMBERS TO CALL, LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO SCAM.

Even if you totally hate your ex that that was a really sh***y thing to do. And you can probably count on them calling to bug you anyway.

Lets hope there was no identifying info on what you sent or I would bet you're not done with them. These type of 'collection agencies' simply get your information  from another bottom feeder and tries to collect from people who can be intimidated. I have a friend who fell for it. She couldn't afford to pay anything to anyone but they scared the hell out of her with their threats. Its amazing how many people are unaware of these type of people until its too late. Everyone should be aware that UNLESS YOU GET AN ACTUAL BILL don't pay anyone anything! Contrary to their threats, no one can take you to jail for owing money! The fact that they do everything over the phone and don't even have the decency to leave a message should tell you how 'legitimate' these jackoffs are. Keep your money in your pocket until you have PROOF you owe. May God protect you from these liars and thieves, there's a ton of them out there.

Funny I got a call about the same thing on Aug 2. Paid off April 2012 and I get a call August 2013 stating I owe something like $350. Luckily I saved all documentation to show it was paid and faxed to to them. Let's see it they stop calling.

I also have received calls from this company on an account that was charged off but as of last year has been paid in full! So why don't you tell your home office to update all of your files because they are wrong!!!! And I know what I am talking about because I too have worked in a collection agency before and instead of harassing innocent people I actually helped them solve their problems and helped CORRECT THE COMPANY'S MISTAKES!!!!!  So before "speaking out of your A$$" why don't you take a look at your own problems and correct those before you try to tell people how to pay their bills or say "Man up and take out the checkbook" REAL F****** PROFESSIONAL you DOUCHE!!! : )

This number kept calling me for a couple of weeks and never said anything until today. It was a lady from a collection agency saying I still owe an old Verizon bill from 2010 but funny how I agreed on a settlement last year and paid it in full!!! And she had the wrong year it isn't from 2010 the old verizon bill was charged off in 2008. Sounds kind of shady to me!

They called asking for my SS number, who asks that these days over the phone, I hung up!

I had the same with credit card companies when my mother passed away. I was put in POA after she cot the cards. made payments from her bank account, till she passed away. And then stopped paying them. Started getting calls from then told them she pass away, They didn't believe so I told to check for her death certificate. And when they call back told them to up Heaven and ask for her maybe she can sent it from there. Never heard from them again.

It was a collection agency.  They called for my ex....gave them his phone # and mailing address.

Different experience then most of you.
I told them that I was getting call to my work cell phone issued by my company, they verified that I was not the person that they are looking for and they "apparently" took my name off the list.
We shall see if they own up to it. BTW, they said the message was recorded.

My friend has been getting call from these vultures for around 6 months -- it started just after her husband passed away.  They have NEVER, NEVER EVER sent a statement saying who they are representing or who's name the account is in.  I wonder if they are trying to collect from a deceased person.  If they are, they have to be considered lower than the lowest scum of the earth----maybe even lower than primeval seeping oozy crud.  Also, they do call from so many numbers you can't keep track of them all.  Since my friend doesn't have access to a computer, she asked me to update this site.
By the way, isn't it against fair collection laws not to identify who this company is collecting for????

They called to my cellphone asking for my mom. How in the world did they get my number in the first place.

This place started calling me recently and claimed I had to pay my debt in full at that very moment. They said very nasty intimidating things. They claimed I owe over $1,000 on a credit card lol funny thing is, I DON'T HAVE ANY CREDIT CARDS! And I have LifeLock and monitor my credit so I know there are none open in my name. This place is a scam! It is a fraudulent company that hires dumb n****rs because they're the best at souunding ignorant and threatening.

Yes. They are vision financial. They will bombard you with many different numbers including ones in your own area code. I put them all into my contacts and copy my call log as it appears they may use phone harassment techniques in violation of the fair credit act. If so once I have 100s it will be MY turn to collect from THEM!

Does no good to put these people (if that's what you call them)...on the "NO CALL LIST" as they use many numbers.
They call but phone ring only 1x or 2x, never leave a message.  That's their game!!!

It's been suggested that you answer "POLICE DEPARTMENT"  That's a great deterent...

I received multiple calls but do not answer. They do not leave a message

This is vision financial. They called me as well. I do have an account with Orchard Bank through HSBC that has been closed. However, Vision Financial wants me to pay the debt to them. Nope. They didn't send me anything other than a statement but doesn't reference what the account number from Orchard Bank was. I'm not paying them. If anyone is going to get the money it will go directly to Orchard Bank/HSBC.

This number just called. Unidentified caller. I answered and said hello, they CHOOSE not to reply.

I called the number back to request whoever it is stop calling my cell phone, which is on the Do Not Call List.  It rang and picked up with this message:  This Number Is Not In Service.

This is getting old!! They call and never leave a message. When you call the number back you do not get an answer..Either leave a message or STOP calling me!!!

Keep calling me 3 or 4 times a day. I answer and they hang up or I don't understand what they are saying to me. they speak with very bad accent.
