this is the most annoying company on the planet they are part of chase the way i see it these damn bankers are the fault for our economy they get trillions in taxpayer money and don't use it for anything but taking care of themselves not a one of them is worth a damn

I have gotten 8 missed calls today from this number and when I try to call it back it just hangs up on me!! I don't have a WAMU account either WTF!!!!!

We have received several -no one there - calls at our business

Me too..  Number comes up on my cell phone at least 6 times day.  If its WAMU, go away, I don't want you.  Have an AMEX, a Citi, and a card from my bank.  My house is paid for, don't want a mortgage.  If you want a return call, leave a message and perhaps I can call back.  But like everyone else, I don't answer UNKNOWN, RESTRICTED CALLER, or numbers I don't recognize.

Called me multiple times.  I have a wamu card, and was late on my bill which I paid a few days ago.  He wanted to give me back to late fee charge of $39 or whatever if I paid the amount on the phone again.  I was confused.  He wanted me to give him my banking info, little sketchy.  I hung up.

Called yesterday.  Asked for Mr B.  Said he wasn't available so he asked for Mrs B.  Said he wanted to collect a late payment.  I said I wasn't on the account so I didn't have access to pay it.  He continued to pressure me with his scripted responses and didn't make sense.  ID says call is from New Jersey...sounded like it was from India with English as a second language.

This number has called me 7 or 8 times and I don't have a WAMU account! And they call me on my cell phone. It is annoying and frustrating!

These people call me all day as you can tell and they want to speak with my wife,NOT to me, I have to say "Hello"  more than 3 time before I get some body, or sometime  they don't talk at all, do not talk to these people !!

Once again I received another call - the 10th one today.  I do have a WAMU account and yes, I'm late by 3 days.  I told them I would pay next week,  I don't think the "outsourced" people in India can hear the words because they are too busy being condescending.  I will NOT answer the phone again when I see that number.

Calls form this number are coming to me a Sunday. this is against the law by the way. When i call back the number it is Busy. Trouble

I got call this # every day.I have a card and pay bill every month. They have several phone numbers. 602-358-0120 also.

They call my cell every day. I do not now nor have I ever had an account with WAMU. I don't even have ANY credit cards anymore, I don't own a home, and my car is paid off. WTF is right.

They also use a 623 area code # (Arizona) They can get in line w/ everyone else. #1 gets paid first.

I'm grateful to this service to see who these jerks are. I got my call during Obama's inauguration speech, so I knew whoever was calling wasn't paying attention to this world.

Yep, got a call from this number today...I have already contacted Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, my State representative, AND my cell phone carrier...I want these jerks shut down permanently!!  Don't EVER answer your phone and don't EVER talk to ANYONE at WaMu or anyplace that does business with them!!  If enough people contact the media about this, it WILL get on the news...contact your local TV news, just keep pestering them.  What if all of us emailed CNN about this on the same day??  Don't you think they would notice that?  We have to come together and make some noise!  I am going to keep blogging, emailing, and calling until someone listens and does something about this crap because I am SICK of it.

I have been getting constant calls from this number only on my cell phone.  If I answer they don't say anything nd they never leave a message.

The caller calls without leaving inforamtion.  continues to call over and over withiut in.  I want my number removed from there data base.

its not enough they (banks) put us in this mess - but if you do call wamu direct they will work with you - but they call like mad and continue to hang up.According to Fair Debt Collection Act it's illegal to call outside of 8AM-9PM local time of the person being called

this guy tried to tell me i have a mastercard bill and how did i want to take care of that.
i don't have a mastercard, what a dumbass. i tried berrating him off the phone, told him he has the info wrong, he insisted, he is willing to stay on the phone and push through. don't give him anything.

I get many calls per day from this number 1-201-267-9017 caller I. D. is New Jersey from WaMu. Every time I answer the phone no one answers me back. There should be some kind of legal action against this type of phone harrasment. Tell everyone you know not to do any business with WaMu. I personally plan on filing a complaint against such practices. WaMu is the short name Washington Mutual... what a waste this "business" is.

WAMU calls 4 to 6 times a day! If you talk to them and promise payment - they will call you again. Makes no difference.  I know the voice of one gal but she changes her name - but its her.  If you pay them - they will still call.  I don't understand how such ignorance and harrassment can continue in this day and age!  This action is sub human and no one cares in Washington - these fine politicians we have.  This has to be stopped!!  WAMU is just one of dozens of crocked, lying thieves. I'm tired of paying the penalty for their stupidity!

Yes, this is one of MANY phone numbers WaMu uses (they call from WA, AZ, GA, NV & the list goes on).  The part that is odd is that they don't respond when I have had the ability to answer any their calls.  All because they will not consider payment arrangements we have attempted to make with them.  I am going to just start turning my ringer off.

What ever happened to the limit of times a creditor can call you? These people called me 9 times today disguising themselves as "New Jersey".  Does any one know what will they do if you get an unlisted phone number?   Also, what  federal law is it that says you can't use a false caller ID?  Anybodyknow?  I wish I'd never had a credit card with these people!

This is WAMU or a company that is working with WAMU to collect on credit card debt. I don't suggest you talk to these schmucks on the phone. Call Washington Mutual directly about your account.
