FYI, I received a call and caller ID tracked it as "OFC", no answer on the other end of the line.

This number has called my phone several times this morning.... It should be reported if it is a phishing scam!

I recently signed up for Netflix and the same thing is happening to me.

10/7/13 I missed a call from this number : 201-283-9631! Today 10/9/13, I just received a call from 314-627-2936! The woman said, "Can you hear me okay? This is Jodi from samplerewards.com and I was calling to inform you that you were the lucky candidate picked from taking our survey. You will receive a $100 gift card and a $50 gift card." I asked what do I have to do? She replied, "not much really, my badge number is 173 and I will connect you over to the shipping department now." I said, okay but before you connect me I would like some information. What is your name? She said, "My name is Jodi and my badge number is 173, I will connect you over now." I replied, I know your name is Jodi and can you tell me your last name please? She said, "My name is Jodi, my badge number is 173 and I will connect you to my supervisor now." I continuously said Jodi, may I have your last name please? And she kept providing me with the same answer, "My name is Jodi, my badge number is 173 and I will connect you to my supervisor now." I said, Ma'am I work in customer service and I am asking you to provide me your last name so I can write it down please. She replied, "Thank you, have a nice day!" and disconnected the call. When you work in customer service, we are not able to disconnect the call on a customer unless they are cursing and you warn them that if they don't stop then you'll disconnect the call. PLEASE EVERYONE BE AWARE OF THESE NUMBERS THAT YOU DO NOT KNOW BECAUSE ULTIMATELY IT SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM! I know we all could depend on some extra money but please don't give up your information to unknown companies! Do some research. Ask them MANY questions. Most of the scams out there when questioned, will refrain from releasing information about themselves and reference other people's names that you may know or that just sound like, "Oh, he knows so and so...this isn't a scam." DO NOT THINK LIKE THAT BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO TRY AND SCAM US, THEY KNOW HOW WE THINK. So don't just trust that they're being honest and genuine because the nicest people in the world could also be the ones you need to watch the most! Not saying ALL nice people are trying to get over on you. But some people show you one thing on the outside and they're completely different on the inside. For example, Hitch hikers! Some of us feel bad and pick them up. And others will feel bad but keep driving by. Its a tough decision because the people sometimes seem so innocent and harmless. But those same people, some...NOT ALL, are rapists and killers! So needless to say, JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE WARNING SIGNS. IF SOMEONE IS HESITANT TO GIVE YOU INFORMATION...NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN, IT'S A SCAM! Trust your instincts and go with your gut...even if you are unsure...that means that you, yourself are hesitant...so don't give them your information. These scammers are predators and guess who is their prey? US! Make smart decisions because if Jodi would've provided me with her information than I would've just handed over mine...So use your voice because we have it to question things that we are unsure of and when we speak up...we ultimately save ourselves from being someone's prey!

This is ridiculous. Several calls per day and when called back the number says not in service. They even sent me a text message with the call-back number as MY OWN. WTF????

Lame and pathetic

its so obviously fake, i couldn't imagine anyone falling for it, do they really think the whole "can you here me thing" fools anyone into thinking it's a personal call?

I don't know who this is, or why they're calling, or how they got my number.  But they do not leave a voicemail, and based on these posts, I will not be returning the call.  There has to be a way to filter spam calls...

Got a call from this same number a few days ago and it hung up when i answered do i called back and got an automated message saying they contacted me i selected the number to be on the do not call lust and they still call this time a lady said i was contacted because of a survey i filled out and needed to verify my address to receive my free gifts when i told her i haven't completed any surveys she got quiet and hung up i don't give out any info not even my name scammers can get your info more
easily of little details she said she was representing "sample awards or sample rewards" something like that

Same thing here...I told them would not give date of birth, they terminated call

This is the 3rd time in three days that I have received from this number. I registered my number on the no call list and I still get this call.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone today (8/16/13) and I answered and this lady started talking and hardly stopped. She said that I had been randomly picked as a canidate to do a survey to get a $100 dollar giftcard. I told her I was not intrestead because I knew it was a scam to get my debit card info but she wouldn't give up. FINALLY, when she got to the end of her little "speech", I again told her I was not intrestead and she told me thank you and have a nice day.

I don't get it because I NEVER got scam calls until like last week and all these different people keep calling me and telling me if I do a survey, I will get a giftcard. WHY?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!

PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THESE SCAMMERS AND GIVE YOUR NAME AND CARD INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number keeps calling me I pressed 2 when I called back
To be removed from there calling list and they said that it could take 2 days to remove but they still keep calling QUIT CALLING ITHER WISE IM A REPORT YOU

I just got a call from this number just now. The person I talked to was an actual person named Jody (if that was her real name). I got her name after having her repeat it because her English was not so good (go figure from these kinda calls). She said she was calling about a survey I filled out. I tried telling her I didn't do any surveys. She kept going on and on, until I cut her off by telling her to shut up, I didn't doing any stupid surverys, I work 3rd shift, so don't tick me off. It seems she got the message and hung up.

Looks like a google voice number

Answered the phone to "Hello, can you hear me?" Hello this is *name couldn't be heard* from TransWorld mobile" They hung up after I said wrong number. The womans voice sounded recorded or like she was on a VOIP or SAT phone. Connection was very poor as well. Scammers from "Kearny, NJ". They could be anywhere though.

They just called me too about a survey and gift cards. Weird

Yeah, same thing... Something about a survey and I said "what will this cost me?" and she said " nothing really" then I asked again and it went right back into its robot voice giving me the whole thing again about a survey and free gift cards. Pretty clever though, I asked if I was talking to a robot and it said "I get that all the time" then immediately went right back me doing a survey and some kind of free gift cards. I asked them to never contact me again and the call ended.  I called the number back and selected the customer service option and left them a very very blunt message and after I hit the # sign it said you have been removed from our call list???  Weird, but by far this is some sort of scam... Gonna watch my bank account

I got a call from this number while I was at work. I ignored it. I have a caller ID that scans for information on the number, and it showed the name as "Adamm." Yes, two M's. I don't have anyone named Adam or Adamm in my phone.

Scam! Tried sending me a 100 dollar shaping card and a 60 dollar dining card...very animated Nd trying to pretend like it was a real recording. Dumb. You don't just get free money now a days...

after all the freebies gift card and samples info they want you to pay 1.95 by check, or credit card?  are you serious please do not call me anymore .

Ahh hahhhh! Your correct i Have also signed up for a free trial of hulu plus and it has started happening with us! My wife filled out the info and we had to use our real info with a debit or credit card to charge if we went over the free trial.... So Hulu is auto dialing its subscribers > ? wonder what for since its just busy signal....? i bet they have it set up to harass folks and the state we live in its blocked so it still calls us it just cant leave a msg or talk  since its illegal in the state.

Just got this call on my work cell. She said that I have won two gift cards due to answering a survey about "products". I let her ramble on for a while, after I stopped her several times asking her who she was. She just kept going back to her script. Finally, she took a breath, and I told her that this was a company provided cell phone that I had never given out as a contact for me for any survey, EVER. Then I told her that it was on a no-call list. She quickly thanked me for my time, and hung up.

simple awards:  indian lady reading a script saying that I filled out a survey,and that I was to receive a $100 gift card and a $50 restaurant card as a thank you. I asked for them to email it to me and she had to put her supervisor on the line, who also read a script.  what a bunch of phoney bolognie I could see right thru this scam and hung up after asking if they could verify the survey I "filled out".

They prey on the old and ignorant.  And the semi-illiterate.
