These people contacted me and i ran them through the BBB and got a report that only 3 complaints had been filed and they had been settled. I signed up with them and have been charged $ 595 a month for 6 months. Have been through two different  "LEGAL" firms and nothing has been done. I contacted the BBB again and got a report that they were a scam. Too late though, I have lost $3600 that I could not afford to loose.
So much for the American Dream--more like a nightmare.
This organization that preys on struggling people should be forced to leave the country and forced to live in a 3rd world country--thats where they are trying to put us.

to all the people calling this a scam they really need to wake up and smell the coffee.. these are people who recieve calls because they have been behind at one point or another. don't deny your failure. they have something homeowners need. the programs they offer no one else in america offers. do you know what 501C3 means? no you guys are absolute idiots who don't know how to conduct any kind of research and file complaints wasting your time when they have been around for 10 years now. 501c3 is the same level as churches, scientific labs, and larger charities. WENDYS HAS A 501C3 NON PROFIT WORKING FOR THEM, ARE THEY SCAMMING YOU TOO?

see the only reason you guys come online and complain about it is because you f****d yourselves over by not being able to pay your mortgage because you dumb people wanna spend it on your new cars and then say "oh lemme refinance" you guys are dumb homeowners really really dumb ones they gave mortgages out like candy bars to dumb people like you and you really probably deserve to lose your home.

tell me who in this world works for free and actually gets legitimate and proper results?  nobody. these are skilled attorneys who the hell are you to talk? most of you stupid losers DON'T EVEN HAVE A JOB sitting inside a house youre going to LOSE.

call your attorney generals. the people who are scamming you homeowners are the BANKS and the MODIFICATION "LAWYERS" that you dumbasses pay 3-4k to do you a modification that
1. doesn't even address the actual problem, THAT 11 MILLION HOMEOWNERS ARE UNDERWATER.
2. what are they doing for you? the same s*** you'd do for yourself. a modification is based on YOUR income, there is nothing a lawyer can LEGALLY do to get you a modification if you couldnt get one yourself. then you wanna call everyone a scam because youre a dumb a** who didn't know about the MARS rule.

people like you guys with bad things to say all deserve to lose your homes. the real scammers are the banks.

keep paying your trial payments guys, because your paying for the bank's lawyers to foreclose on you. hahaha

Not a scam, how can a non for profit company scam you? they have to report their income to the IRS and explain in detail where it comes from. Do they take donations from Freedom Legal Plans? I think so, probably for referring clients to them, but there is nothing wrong with that, they have to pay their bills and this time of age not many people want to volunteer to sit on the phones and call homeowners to advise them of their options. Is Freedom Legal Plans legit? who knows for sure but I assure you if you wait to do something like I did, you will lose your home to the bank in a New York minute. Whatever you do, hire an attorney ASAP if you are more than 3 months behind.
Are 99 out of 100 telemarketers a scam? who knows but when you get a call from a government campaign or the Humane society etc. are they scams? no but what happens is that we prefer to stick our heads in the sand and pretend everything will work itself out. Stop lying to yourself America, look where it has gotten us so far.

They are LEGIT Mike:) ,Reaching You has helped quite a few families and i suggest that EVERY!1 do there research but every company is NOT a SCAM .Reaching U Network is a great company and all they want to do is help others SAVE THEIR HOME and if asking for donations to do so will help them help others and if you have it to give then do so but if not dont try to RUIN this companies reputation and dreams of helping those in need. I know that a lot of scams are out there but sometimes you have to have faith that all people are not bad.I researched this company and see the good they r doing.Have a blessed day!!! :)

I sure hope Reaching u network will help us. I too have been trying to work with our bank for over a year and not much luck. They always put me in a forebarence and I don't want that because at the end of the forebarence they was over $10,000 for sure I don't have that kind of money. I'm unemployed and my husband is a seasonal worker so he will be unemployed in a few weeks.

I am hoping and praying that Reaching U Network isn't a scam. I need help with this stupid bank and I don't have the money to throw away on scams. Barely have the money to pay what the bank wants. The bank just keeps wanting more and more above the regular payment. Some banks are scams, they get bailed out by the goverment but then they go and harass their home owners.

Not true......I've been working with them and because there is so much fraud on so many mortgages, they are contacting anyone who is a home owner. Why? Chances are if you bought your home over the last 10 years, you have a fraudulent mortgage.

I don't have to eat poison to know it's not good for me. And you got the ratio completely wrong -- when it comes to cold calls, 99 out of 100 are scams. And you know what? The 1 honest one DOESN'T MATTER.

You're obviously not reputable if you have to run your scam ono this site -- this is where we warn each other about scammers like you, it's not a forum for you to trick people when you can't trick them on the phone.

Now go back to your boiler room, your crack pipe is getting cold!

Hey F-ucked & Gloria and for most of you. Don't assume everyone is a scam. No wonder you don't get any assistance you ask for, yet you will continue to bi*** and complain and blame the government and every private company offering services. Not everyone is preying on struggling homeowners, Most Homeowners put themselves in this predicament, and we now understand there will always be companies that will call and offer services to get us out of our rut.
You guys are right, when I received a call from Reaching U, I thought it was another company looking to sell something I didnt need, but the fact that I needed help regarding my mortgage I stayed on the phone and got as much info I could. I then researched them and Freedom Legal Plans whom they seem to promote their services to fix our mortgage. I believe they're geniune after I checked out their license# and other. It came down to them or Liberty Credit Law, (more expensive) but in the end I took neither cuz my wife is over our bank, she's had it, we decided to just do a short sale and move on.

There are scamming companies, but for every bad company, there are 40 legit ones. Keep that in mind. Unfortunately, the ones who already have it embedded in their heads that every caller is bad and that they are going to be scammed will always get scammed. You bring bad circumstances into your life if you always think about everything in a negative way.

Give other sources a chance, Lord knows our banks are not doing anything for us.

1st I do not work for these guys, however I have read a number of post here and wonder if any of you looked at there websit or contacted the Atty Gen in Fl there home state about them.

As for recieving calls, it would appear that they recieve information about properties from a number of sources and your name and or number came up.

As for them being from another country - it does not appear so. Using outsourced call centers from another country - maybe so.

I noticed that those with negative comments have not used the services of the company, only been contacted by the company. That says alot about the company (if people using the services were writing bad reviews) and a lot about those posting reviews.

Just one person's opinion.

Valerie.....They don't have an attorney in your area. They pull you in and then they seek out an attorney (off the internet) and try to pull the attorney in. This is what the attorneys have told me.
Oh yes. They will get you thinking that you have an attorney, by having some poor (unsuspecting0 attorney telephone you....then he backs out! In the mean time your time has run out...Then they say "Oops, we have not attorney" good bye!

You were smart.
It is a "roost"...They over (state) their qualifications and what they can do!
They simply call everyone in collecting $595.00 or $750....this is a good deal if you can get a few out of a hundred people to feed them. They have 100's of telemarketers calling out all over the UNITED STATES. They are flaky.

Non-profit Organization
I can confirm that this organization is legit.  I had been going through a tedious loan modification process for over a year when I learned about Reaching U Network, who again is a non profit organization. They provided me information on the current mortgage crises.  They also provided me information on attorneys who could help protect my rights as a homeowner, as I have been battling the banks on my own for over a year now, which has been not only exhausting but extremely difficult as well.  They referred me to an attorney, who btw is is not part of Freedom Legal Plans and after researching other attorneys I learned most need a retainer to take on a case.  The attorney they referred me to did not ask for a retainer and better yet provided an affordable monthly rate.  I also did more research on Reaching U Network and if you Google them you will see that they do a lot as a non profit to help many who may lose their home through donations provided.

Seriously before talking with no grounds you should do some research. This is a non-profit organization raising awareness about the MORTGAGE FRAUD, FORECLOSURE FRAUD AND LOAN MODIFICATION SCAMS that are out there. They are not based in India, they cover 22 judicial states, have attorneys in over 22 different states and offices ALL over USA. Look up the supreme court records where they have taken cases to court and helped homeowners win they're home outright or keep them from foreclosure. If you get bothered by someone trying to reach out to you and give you all the necessary ammunition so you can stay protected against the banks and LOAN MODIFICATION then I'm sorry for you. IF YOU are in a loan modification you are being reported NEGATIVELY in your credit bureau because that's how the banks work. Good luck to all of you.

Telemarketer
BE CAREFUL! I've just reported this company to the Chicago Urban League at 773 285 5800 for loan modification fraud. I reiceved an initial phone call from a female and told her I am not in foreclosure. She asssured me, very politely, that she would remove me from the "call" list. Of course, this is a ruse. I just received another call today where I attempted to get her employee id number, company address, and speak to a supervisor, etc where I was denied. "Unfortunately, my supervisor is on break." "Unfortunately, I cannot give out the company number"   ???????????????? So I reported the number that was shown on the caller ID 201 297 5690 to the Urban League as a fraud. Please report this number if you receive communication!

Sincerely,
Chicago

Idiot sounded like an obscene phone call.  Cory (heavy breathing, static) was his name.  I never confirmed any of the information he asked (first name - last name)  - We never got to why he was calling, but I told him twice to remove my number from the list and then hung up on him.
