Keeps calling me asking for someone who has never had my number. Guess they owe money.

This number has called me repeatedly most of the time I won't answer but the few times I have answered they whistle then just speak spanish or some kind of jibberish that I can hardly make out.

I have had two calls from 201-331-6359 on my cell #, I will try and block those calls.  no message left.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone. I don't answer it and they don't leave a message. Glad to know its a scam and I will fill out the do not call registry and add this number.

Getting calls from this number, they leave no voicemail.  I have no idea who it is, although others say it is Vision Financial trying to collect a fake debt.

I just got a call. I dont answer numbers I don't know and they didnt leave a message.

They called on July 25, 2013, but left no message.  When I called the number back, it says it is disconnected.

As I have indicated on several occassions and in regard to other "degenerate" debt collectors with other various numbers, the best way to deal with these people and others is to basically"NOT DEAL AT ALL"! In other words, NEVER, EVER answer the phone or if you accidentally do, hang up immediately! Do not engage them in any way with any conversation. This way, they can never upset you or cause an increase in anxiety - which is what their intentions are to begin with. If you have the ability to "block" their number on your cell phone, then that is the best solution. Otherwise, just simply NEVER, EVER converse with them. You will feel very satisfied with this approach - I guarantee you!

They wont stop! Pain in the a**! The people that work for these telemarketers should obtain an education & get a real job instead of getting paid to harass people all damn day! I refuse to answer, u can call all u want! From now on I pick up & hang up every time

Just got a call from this number. No clue who it is or what it's for. Regardless of who I do or don't owe I'm tired of creditors being able to spoof phone numbers. If you're calling me because you think I owe you, leave a message... I know what & who I owe so stop it with the calls already!

I have been getting calls from them also. I keep getting the same things, no supervisor, and they will not send me documentation of the what the debt is for. They just keep telling me it is a credit card and I don't do credit cards!! I decided to look the number up on Google today and found this site. I am so glad I see I'm not the only one getting calls. Not that I want anyone else getting harassed, but it is good for me to see I am not alone. And now my husband can rest easy as well. This debt is supposedly from before we got married and I think he was getting worried. It didn't affect us buying our house this year so I am not worried!!

I just got a call from this number.  I answered the phone and dead silence.  Called the number back and reached a recording stating the number was not in service.  I'm on the 'do not call' registry.  Glad to see that works really well.  Ugh.

this number calls frequently. Normally I pick up the phone but just hang up immediately without saying a word. Last time I picked up phone but said nothing -- dead silence on other end. Nobody was there.  Eventually the machine that had dialed just hung up.

If you're 14 and getting calls from debt collectors, you may want to have your parents order a copy of your credit report.   Sad to say that identity thieves will get the Social Security number of kids under 18 and run up a boatload of debt using false ID.   The kid doesn't know about it because they aren't being turned down for credit, which is how most people discover they've had their identity stolen.    But when you turn 18 and can start building your own credit you'll have a bad credit rating without having ever legitimately taken out any credit!  

Have your parents check your credit to be sure that you haven't been compromised.   Knowing about it means you have time to try to get it corrected before you start wanting your first credit card!  

Good luck. Identity thieves are about the lowest of the low....and sadly the legal system does little or nothing to them, so they aren't going to stop anytime soon.

They are a collection company. I never answer. I don't owe the money and tried for 7th years to clear its uoun.I just stopped answering.

You can tell this is fake because I'm 14. I wouldn't think I'd have any debt.

They are are a Scam do not give any info I challenged and the numbers were turned off,but will be back on soon.Be strong they are bad.

Ditto on the call, I got the same, ran to answer, gone... picked up phone, said hello.  Nothing but dry air.

Debt collectors. missed call but called back and got automated message about a debt collection

Debt collector calling about a debt from 14 years ago, something that doesn't even show up on my credit report anymore, in fact something that I'm pretty sure isn't even mine. He became frustrated and hung up after asking why I refused to pay the debt. Told him "I don't work, nor do I have money." He than asked how I pay my bills, to which I told him "I don't need to pay bills, because I died in 2000. You've been talking to a ghost! WHHhOOO-ooooo-OOOO-ooo!!" Said something about "maybe I'll take it serious enough one day when I try to get a mortgage.

Fake debt collectors I call them back and threaten to take legal actions against them and they hang up on me lol .. It's def fake because I have zero debt!!! Do notttttt give any of your info out !!!

go online and report to the do not call registry, that will often stop it.

Its a debt collector, I called the number I asked them "Is this their new tactic on getting people to call them back" of course I didn't get an answer and then she proceeded to tell me the name of who they were looking for.  I told her no and to please remove the number from their list!  So there ya go, the new tactics of debt collectors to aggravate you into calling them back lol

Get call never leave a message so I called it back and it say Vision Financial which I have never heard of.
