I forgot to mention what number keep calling me. It is the 201.

This number had been calling my cell phone for a couple of days.  I would answer and no one was there.  Finally today I got someone.  I had previously searched the number and found this page and I confronted them about being a scam.  They got heated that they were not a scam and said they were registered with the Florida Department of Agriculture and paid $50.00 for the license.  I spoke with Mike Richards who said he worked for Vista Services.  So I called the Florida Dept. of Ag. and asked about the company.  The Dept. said that Vista Services does not have a license to do telemarketing in the State of Florida and that the $50.00 license was for an individual to do telemarketing while they worked for a licensed company.  I will be filing a complaint with the Florida Dept. of Ag. and my state attorney general's office.

they called me and knew my name.  I said I am sorry I do not need anything.
The woman caller screaches one word back "Ruuuuuuudeeeeeeee". I said No I am not but you sure are and hung up.

they've been harassing me for about two weeks now. i've called the number back and removed myself from the list TWICE. yeah, it does nothing. i work at a local newspaper, and i have to recommend that everyone who has this problem should write to either the local opinion section or the consumer advocates section. it'll get your voices out there and if it makes it to the consumer reporter, it's their job to investigate and get answers.
i'm also following the advice of Jennifer and making a complaint with the federal bureau of consumer protection. shut their a**es down.

Got this call today and a woman named Jeffifer told me she was with visa and mentioned the last 4 digits of my number and told me she whas verifying that I still lived here and was sending me a $60. gas card. I asked again who she was with and she hung up on me.

IF you purchased a product online or via infomercial, most likely you were opted into a list...

they are from New Jersey, and sell a wide variety of products and services

many of these companies trade/share lists

in fact there are many many other forums and boards that show this number...

answer the phone

in a polite voice tell them that you have received many calls from this number

tell them that in your state, there are do not call lists...
tell them that you are on this list

tell them that the Attorney Generals office takes complaints in your state for these offenses

then tell them that the penalty for calling you back after requesting to never be contacted again is X dollars...

tell them that you will be asking your phone company for a copy of your incoming calls

then forward a copy of that to the attorney generals office for your state and ask that they investigate/ enforce any fees to be returned to you

if you live in a state like PA that has this law, you can get $750 cash per call

i am going to spend my money on hiring a company to call them during dinner time....

this number has called me four times this evening.  i haven't answered because I didn't know the number. after reading all the complaints above, however, i eagerly await their next call.

i answered a call from this number because i'm looking for a new job and thought it might be someone from a company i applied for.  instead there was just a bunch of background noise and someone was whistling.  not the typical thing described in these other messages, but nonetheless don't give any of your info this this number!

I had this a while back told them to take me off call list. They did ...for a while. Now it has started back up again. Told them take of list.. will have to see what happens. Last time I talked to them it was a guy and we got pretty involved about all the BS until he told me to F.Off and hung up on me.

I have been getting calls day and night from this number.  I only answered once and they asked for me personally.  I said "she isn’t home, may I take a message?"  The lady said it was a courtesy call.  I wasn’t sure so I checked the number here.  I'm glad I did.  It was on my cell phone, so I have blocked it now.

Ive been getting calls from this number now for the last week or so ive just been having fun with them. i sing into the phone till they hang up or put the phone with my dog so he barks at them, some times i just pick up hit mute and listen. they sound really gheto. I called back and got a message that wouldnt allow me to leave a message. Scam for sure.

Same as all of the above. Reported it to the FTC. They are even calling my cell phone!

I keep getting calls from this number located in New Jersey. At least 1-2 times a day I'll receive a call, but no message is left. I did recently purchase something online which makes me believe I was added to a call list, but never again will I do that because I'm being harassed by this evil number. I want my number removed from the list.

If you call this number back from the number they called you on, there is an option to remove your phone number. press 9.

What if you get a call from this phone number, what does that mean??? I have been getting calls from this number but i haven't been answering. I thought i would get online to see who it was. I didn't know it was this bad. Can anybody give me any information on what to do?????

Dont have any idea who these people are, but they are harrasing me to death. Calling my cell phone, my work and everything.

This is the same thing that happened to me from this number (201-334-9162). The guy was offering a $300 gas card, and all I had to do was pay $1.95 for them to ship it to me. I told him no, and he called me "ridiculous"! I called my credit card company (since these people had my name, mailing address, phone number and last four digits of my card)and they promptly canceled the card.

These people just called me...they told me i was a preferred costumer and they new the last 4 of my cc#...they said that the company was called vista and they were offering me 250 dollars in free gas...they called me 4 times today and when i called back it was a answer machine...it sounded like an old lady...i told them no tons of times and they wouldn't drop it...the lady on the phone at the end was very rude and pushy! i ordered something offline about 11 days ago...(still haven't gotten it)...its gotta have somethin to do with that...I'm so mad right now!...I'm gettin a new credit card number!

I have not picked up yet but they have called my relentlessly for the past three days. When I realized that the call was coming from Jersey and I don't know anyone there I became suspicious. I recently purchased some Acai berry product online (the first time) I am a big online shopper but usually with well known stores. If I had known my information would be sold I would never have done so. Time to call that retailer and b***h, I am looking forward to hearing from this Jennifer...

They have called me several times and whenever i call back it is a recording.  i picked up once and they said the same thing about offering me a gas card.  how do i get off of their list!!!

this number calls atleast 5 times a day ask for my husband and i say he's not here they hang up on me.Can't get word in to tell them not to call

good gives me a reason to bring up the do not call list the next time they call.

when I answer the phone, they seem to be talking in the background, then hang up.  They call numerous time a day.  They call my cell phone, I will not answer them anymore and haven't answered them in weeks, yet they continue to call .... who can explain their lack of have a real life?   Idiots!

The number called then hung up before I could answer. I called back and it was a recording from something garbled, it sounded like "Very Import Tubs" then said to leave a message if I wanted to hear back from them or push 9 to remove myself from their calling list.

I have had calls since July 1st and thought it was the cell phone co since that is when I started with them.  I have called them frequently and it isn't them.  I have also gone to the police and they can't do anything.  I have received 2-4 calls a day.  I did talk to some and they said they were from platinum visa.  Don't know if that is enough to go on.  I am going to call the landline operator and see if they can find out who this is without having to pay #14.95.  To change my number, it would cost @15.00 for processing.  Ridiculous.

They called 10/15/2008  @ 3:45pm EDT and hung up when I answered.  I found this site when Google the number.  Thanks.

These people are completely relentless.
They have called my phone a total of 7 times in the last 48 hours.
I haven't answered, as they call at the most assinine times.
No time for this BS- none.
The next time they call, I will inform them to remove my information from their records. This is almost harassment- 7 times in 48 hours?!?
