For all you android phone users, you can download an app called Mr. Number through the Google Play Store.

When a spam number calls you phone, you open the App and tell Mr. Number to hang up on the call.

201 340 1009   answer and start speaking jibberous. Make up words and have some fun messing with them. Dont speak spanish cause they might speak spanish. Everyone start answering and speaking bull crap. Have fun with it.

I just received a call from 201-340-1009.  My called ID showed OUT OF AREA with the phone number.  I don't answer any long distance calls from phone numbers I don't recognize.  However, my wife answered this one and they asked to speak to me.  I got on the line and a person with a thick foreign accent said he was from an online pharmacy.  He said "I called you about a month ago and you told me to call back".  I said, "No, I have never talked to you and I don't use online pharmacies, I don't want to talk to you and please do not call me again."  

I then blocked the number on my Panasonic wireless phone.

I have been getting calls from 201-340-1009 for some time and the caller ID says it is coming from Rutherford, NJ.  Whoever it is calls everyday, sometimes more than once per day. I called them back, and after a plug for getting my own ping number they hang up. How can I stop these scumbag bottom feeders???

They are still at it....been calling several times a day using this and 3012-340-1027. Don't even answer !!!!!!

I have been getting calls from 201-340-1009 for some time and the caller ID says it is coming from Rutherford, NJ.  Whoever it is calls everyday, sometimes more than once per day.  I don't answer any number that I don't recognize, so I just let it go to voice mail and they've never left a message.  Between these unsolicited calls, unwanted political calls, and unnecessary calls from a company wanting to sell me a security system (they leave a message)--and I've already told them that I have a security system installed in my home--it is aggravating.  Surely there is some way to stop these calls, especially if you are on the no-call list!

Received repeated call from them. They know my husband's name. Have answered after repeated calls from Rutherford, NY, but all different numbers, as they are calling ENDLESSLY! and we're sick of the disruptive calls.  we have caller ID & didn't answer at first, but as I said, ENDLESS CALLS!!!! and it was getting ridicules. I answered once & told them off, but they called again tonight & I answered again & told them off again.  Really hope it stops! oh, and they change the last four digits every time...

These people won't stop calling. I told them I didn't want to talk with them, that what they were doing was "phishing," and that if I needed to order anything, I would do it through internet.  He tried to persuade me by telling me the only way to get my 10% discount would be to order through the phone. He gave me some 800# to call back.  I told him "NO"  I am not buying over the phone.  He got upset and said, "What happened?"  I told him again, and again he kept asking me, "What happened?"

He said his name was James Foster, although it was obvious he was foreign and his name was probably MiddleEastern. After NOT calling back the 800# he gave me and told me to call for my SPECIAL DISCOUNT fraud special of his, he called me later to ask me why I didn't call the number, and I hung up on him.

I hav ereceived calls from several New Jersey Numbers.I called back and the man said hello.I said he had called but left no message.He then hung up.

Got a call from both this number and 201-301-1008 today.  First time heard a male say, "Hello", but nothing else.  Second time, I let it go to voicemail.  They left no audible message.

It is Canadian Pharmancy calling...  what a bunch of jerks.

The scam is not by Pinger. It's by people using the free numbers Pinger supplies for free texting and cheap phone calls.

This is a marketig scam by a company called PINGER, the recorded message tells you that you have reached a PINGER number and you can get your own account
