Telephone calls constant

continues to call no matter what is done

When I tried to return the call no one answered, no message, nothing.

This is a crank call  It calls numbers on the do not call list
How can we get rid of it?

Sleazeball attempting to make a robocall sound like a live call and have you 'schedule' delivery of a medical alert device they say is already paid for by simply hitting a # on your phone. Not sure if an unsuspecting person (presumably elderly, which makes this scam even more despicable) would be legally bound to pay since you are hitting a phone button and not verbally accepting. Nonetheless this is one of the more disturbing attempts to scam the vulnerable and I hope these scammers BURN IN HELL! To make it even more irritating, they are calling #'s on the DO NOT CALL list.

repeated calls from this number asking for and telling me I paid for a shipment phony number, called back  and no ring. 10 calls this month I am a senior and I have reported to police and better business buerau and now it is blocked with a tracer.

This one's slick, I actually thought there was a live person on the line. I could hear him flipping the pages of paper he was reading and I was all set to "play" with the caller when I realized that it was a recording. Following is the text of the "conversation"...

"Hi, uh, this is John from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert, I was calling to uh schedule a delivery of your medical alert system, it's uh the "fallen, and I can't get up" type of system you've seen on TV. Looks like the system's been uh recommended by thousands of hospitals and medical professionals, uh, let's see, says here that the system's already been paid for. Looks like you're getting the system because uh either yourself, a friend, a family member or maybe even someone you know has experienced a fall in the past so uh again it's already been paid for so there's no cost to your whatsoever. Also says here that the shipping has already been paid for so to uh schedule the delivery of your Emergency Medical Alert System press 1 uh again to uh have your system shipped out to you press 1 now...press 5 to decline the shipment of your system....(me) Hello?"

CONTINUE RECEIVING CALLS CONCERNING A MEDICAL DEVICE I ORDERED READY FOR SHIPMENT.

didn't pick up... they left a very realistic sounding recorded message saying they are calling about the "I've fallen and I can't get up" system that I've probably heard about and so many use... the system's already been paid for, I'm getting the system because somebody I know has had a fall... shipping has already been paid for, too... I just have to contact them to let them know where to send it... message ends with another voice saying "If you already have a medical alert system please ignore this message"... clearly a bogus call and about the sixth time I've received this exact call.

Nasty sales pitch saying I've already have a "med alert" system paid for and they just want to" schedule delivery". - HA!
- I'm about to turn 65 and already the piranha fish are coming in for the kill!
Beware and don't believe this stuff. It is a pretty sophisticated delivery and scam.

Recorded robocall.  Caller ID read V72417152200062.  Guy reading a script quite casually about an emergency medical system of the "Help I've fallen and can't get up kind" that is "apparently already paid for" etc.  This outfit has called several times before.  See http://www.cnbc.com/id/100841559 and the link to a recording of the scammer.

Reported to the Do Not Call Registry: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx for what that's worth.

The Call Type pulldown on this site should include Scammer in addition to Telemarketer for call type!

I got from this they are abusive!!!!!!

I received approximately 40 calls in a 3 week period from this company.  All were recorded messages regarding a medical alert.  When called back the message says it is not in service. It was a different # than the 201. I disconnected my answering machine and have had to leave it off as it was being filled with these messages.

Tonight I just got a call from the 201 # above and rang at least 15 times as I cannot put my answering machine on.  I was told by Comcast that I had to block it myself on the internet. I tried this but it still rings through. Can't something be done to stop these people? I should be able to have my answering machine on in my home.

I got that call today but they did not say anything so I hung up, but the call came a couple of days ago, and said the med alert will be mailed out. I said you got the wrong number, and I hung up.

Guy called up saying I was getting a free medical alert shipment - like from the commercial "I've fallen and cant get up" could I give him the address that he could send it to. I said "what person are you looking for because I didnt buy anything?" He said "No someone bought it for you- its fully paid for - including the shipping - we just need your address" Duh- why would someone surprise me/or buy me something to be sent to me and not give that company my address? I hung up.

Got the same message from a "Medical Alert" shipping department saying my medical alert system was shipping and had already been paid for, too.  This is a scam and must stop!!!!

Joe from medical company asking for address to deliver medical alert shipment. Told him I had not ordered anything, he said it was paid for, but I hung. Scammer.

got this call regarding med supplies to be sent to our home. what is going on here? hung up and trying to call back number to respond to this bs. no ringing even going on. call Verizon and they act like I am speaking a different language. don't bill me Verizon on this one.

Telemarketer for medical alerts saying a shipment had been paid for - refused to say who paid for it. I hung up.

There is an article in the current AARP Bulletin that warns of, and explains the medic alert for seniors scam that is well worth reading.

Get this call all the time - sounds like a live call until you try to say something.  Scam about were you want unordered merchandise to be delivered.  

It is coming from a land line.

Telemarketing for alarm systems at 9:45 am.

Just received a call from this number. I did not pick up the call. I usually block but I have reached my quota. I wish Samsung or another company would make a block call instrument that holds at least 100 calls. I read all the time the comments from others and how annoying it is. The company that makes one would make so much money!

I am almost 76 yrs. old and am a 24/7 caregiver for my husband. I really don't need the aggravation of these calls. Does it really help to notify the FCC. I am on the Do Not Call registry.

This is a great site. How about adding: 'Nuisance call' to call type!
