I just ignored it. It rang like once. If it's a scam then the joke's on them bc I'm broke! So hahaha

I also received a call from this number - 201-367-2172 - on 6/12/14.  It rang a few times then stopped, and no voice mail was left.  I assume it was a dialing bot of some kind that moved on to someone who picked up.

Just got a call from this number. Didn't answer it. They didn't leave a message. Not going to call it back. SHADY!!!

Same number called me rang once and hung up didn't leave a message but I always use this website to see what people say which is always usefulf but I'm from Athens, TN so I guess they will call any were in the states

they called me, and i called back and they started to ask for my information, but i hung up. i was considering calling back, but after i saw these posts i am positive it is a scam so no thanks.

Just got a call from this number, on my cellphone, which I only give out to potential clients. (On my business card). They let it ring once, just long enough for Caller ID, then hung up.

called me an hour ago (8:13pm PST) rang once and then promptly hung up. didn't even get to answer.

Cell phone rang once around 9:15am. I never answer numbers I don't know. They didn't leave a message and I didn't call back. Got curious and found this site.

I think its a call from Governor Christy wanting to know how the traffic is going across the bridge.   We only get the best from New Joisey.  

Jun 10 2014 ~930am  Spouse got the same call from Joisey the other day.   Maybe it was an appointment to the Governor's office!

June 9 - same thing. One ring, hung up. Said from New Jersey.

Told me they had gift cards for me but wanted me to pay for shipping and handling aka wanted my card number ummmm no!

Received two calls from 201 367 2172 on 6/ 5/2014 at 3:46 and 3:49 pm..one ring and then hung up; called back three minutes later one ring and hung up.

I reported this number and was told it is a scam to try and get your info. They use a robocall to capture live numbers and then will call to say they are promoting gift cards or prepaid services and try to get your contact information and identification. Furthermore, my local police fraud unit says these are becoming more common as companies are experiencing breaches of secure information online. The officer told me, never answer a cell phone call you do not expect or recognize. Have it blocked if it repeats.

Just got this missed call today. Noone had this new # until yesterday when we shopped at Dick's Sporting Goods!!! Seems they may be selling customers info.

Same thing here on June 4, 2014.  One ring on my cell phone then they hung up.

Called my cell phone at 5:28 pm on 5/30/14 but had my ringer off, so I missed call. Caller didn't leave a message. The caller id came up as "unavailable" and I checked the internet for the number, found this site, then added the number to my blocked calls list.
