Survey caller asked if I knew anything about Lithium. I said I knew it was for bi-polar depression. And the surveyor said had I ever tried anal using White Lithium Grease as lube because it might help my depression. So we tried some anal using White Lithium Grease as lube. they same person called.. said they were calling to settle a debt 12 years ago.. i told them under the florida law they cant retrieve any monies after 7 years. they said have a nice day we will put it that you never had a bad debt.. funny thing was i never had a citibank cc as they said

called and hung up    ...i have NO outstanding depts so this could be more serious... like someone or company is gathering up phone numbers/ gender/ phone numbers that are active  for future use to sell for sales  or for future fraud attempts   ...

They keep calling and asking for a person who does not even work here anymore.  We told them to stop calling.  They said unless we can give them the x-employees new phone number or address that they can legally keep calling.  When I asked him for his full name because he asked me for mine.  He told me I don't need to know that, that he is not the guilty one here. When asked for a supervisor he hung up.

I keep getting calls from this number stating that I had an old Verizon bill and also that my daughter had an outstanding bill under my name.  I contacted Verizon and was told that I have never had any outstanding bills and neither does my 5 year old daughter.  This company is a scam.  I was advised by Verizon to report them to the States Attorneys office, which I did.  The calls are still coming, but I just don't answer.  Eventually the authorities will catch up with them if every turns them in.

I purchased a new phone that lets you leave multiple recorded messages. I taped the "this number is no longer in service" and use it for all 800/888 numbers it seems to be working,
I didn't get any political calls.

I only have a mobile phone and get calls like this all the time.  My number must have belonged to an interesting person.  Unfortunately, I'm not able to block these calls so I found an alternative.  I have a special ringtone for unknown callers and I add them to a contact I named DNA(do not answer).  So every once in a while, I just clear the missed call list.

Every day its a call looking for someone who does not live here or they call and when I answer, there is no one on the line.  It's becoming more than annoying to stop what I am doing when the phone rings to find it's not a call for anyone in this household, or by the time I get to the phone, there is no one there.  It is not just this number but several others as well

in this case I would check out other things and make sure someone did not steal your sons Identity that is was happened with my daughter i ran a credit check on her SS# and lo and behold she a large and bad credit history it took two years to get it all straightened out...but now I check it once a year when I do mine...

Just like everyone else, these people call and hang up, no words exchanged or message left on my voicemail.  So one night I was really drunk and decided to have fun by constantly calling THEM and harrassing them. They then say may name and that "they know who I am" and "Don't I have anything better to do".  I harrassed them constantly that night, was a lot of fun!  Highly reccomended!

Caller will not identify self or what type of call this is concerning. Also asked that if it were a debt that they give the information on the debt and the reference number, they refused. Asked them to cease and desist with their calls if this was a debt collection. I told them I report it to our state attorneys office and also had there company's number and time recorded of their call. They replied have a nice day and hung up. I am sure they will continue to call if not from this phone number, it will be different phone numbers.

These idiots keep calling me also. I am going to try some of your sugestions,like maybe blow a loud whistle in the phone.

They do not leave a messege and I add each new number to my reject list so that they are immediately disconnected and I don't even hear it ring. Last week I got so many calls in one day that I decided to get a little even. I repeatedly called the number and put my phone on speaker and just listened. They would say my name, proving they have caller ID and knew who I was. I kept calling until she startd getting irritated with me. She wouldsay things like "You can't just keep calling and say nothing" (Oh, really? Like how YOU say nothing on my voicemail?) and then she said "this is real mature, grow up and pay your debts" on my last call to her she said "This is getting really irritating" and I said "NOW YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL!" and hung up. Today I wrote down what I will say next time. I will say "Thank you for calling the Missouri center for harrassing phone calls. This phone call WILL be recorded for prosecution purposes. Please state your full name. Please state the name of the company you represent. Please state the person you are attempting to contact. Please state the phone number you prefer our attornys use to contact you." I bet they hang up on me before I even get to finish. If they stay on the line I plan to write down their replies and repeat them back to them, restating that this conversation has been recorded, and that an attorney will be in contact with them soon to discuss the harrassment case pending against them. I kinda hope they call soon, lol

They called and I answered it thinking it was my daughter's father because he lives in N.J. now. I said hello three times and this person said nothing and hung up on me.

These jerks(201-374-8620) call me everyday and when I answer they don't say anything; just keep hanging up and calling back. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a party horn for these jerks and other collection agencies like them. They won't take no for an answer, so I guess I'll have to put a little something in their ear. These companies can have the phone company set them up with all kinds of tricks and numbers just to catch a debtor.

I don't owe them anything, but I am tired of explaining to them that they have dialed the wrong number.

201-374-8620 calls me at least once a day. They do not leave a message. When I call back, the recording says the number has been disconnected.

I love that! Will do it next time any one of them calls.

We received a call from this number asking for someone... must have been a wrong number. If this caller is harassing your family and household... I would suggest that you report their number/info to the appropriate authorities:

1. A previous poster suggested reporting their info to your local FBI (as possible terrorist) -refer to that post for more info.

2.  would also suggest reporting them to the FTC, if your number is on the National Do Not Call list/registry.
