got call this afternoon. no message , just hung up.
caller id read alert.

19:30, call came in, i said hello twice, and there was this sound, kind of like a tv shorting out, sort of pzZZzt. and the line went dead, dialed *69 to get the number, i don't appreciate people screwing with my lines.

Bergen County Office of Emergency Management called about power outages and down wires due to the recent storm. Left a message to explain when power should be restored.

Got a call from 201 403 2013  3:30 ET 7/7/10 on north NJ work number. Some emergency advise about heat wave and water.

4:18 am in Rochelle Park. Called BC Office of Emergency Management today and they said it looks like Verizon got backed up and that's why they went out in the middle of the night.

Received a call at 8:12 this morning.  No message, not even a recording.

4:16 AM on Monday, March 15, 2010.  Message from Bergen County Office of Emergency Management, telling me that power is still out for 91,000 residents, and to be careful of downed power lines.
I imagine they are using a sort of reverse-911 phone system to get this message out.  

But, at 4:16 AM?  Really?  Really, Bergen County?  Really?

Called at 2:39 this morning, no message.

got a call from 201 403-2013 pick up and they hang up that was at midnight mar 14/2010
who ever is that sick  person he or she have isssue

call came in at 2:17AM rang three times  woke me up,what annoyed me was there was no message or no person at the other end,i am still up and just located who called it was emergency warning but i never got the message!!!!

It is the River Vale police department- just received a call from them regarding a missing person

It's a beautiful day - so why did they call at 8:30 this Easter morning????

These calls are from the Bergen County Sheriff's Office, alerting to issues.  I've received them for things like power outages and notifications of incoming bad weather.

I received a call from this number at 10:46pm last night.  Who is this?  This is the first time this has happened.  It seems from your posts it will not be the last!

Rec'd a call but no message at 10:40 PM Sunday night.

Called me 4 times at 11:30 at night but never left a mewssage

It was the bergen county emergency something or another, a recording talking about the power outage

who is this number called us at 3:00 am ??
