**REMINDER, REGISTER YOUR NUMBER ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST**

My number has been on the DO NOT CALL list more than a year.
The calls have decreased, somewhat; however, they're still coming!
On 7/16/10 in the evening, someone on this line "slipped up" and started talking in the background to another person.

I'm a novice in Spanish, French and Italian and quickly understood they weren't speaking any of these languages.  To be honest, I have no idea what language they were speaking.
One of them said something that sounded like, "key-key-key".  It was said very, very quick.  I couldn't make any phonetic sounds from the other person.

Considering the number of complaints, this site and others, there's got to be a way to go after these people.

I had the same problem. Apparently we all asked for information on government grants or something. The operator wants to transfer you to someone else. What a weird phenomenon. Have you guys applied for any strange sites or email lists from restaurants,apps,etc? Call your mobile provider and they cant help you. We need to blacklist that number somehow.

My number is registered in the donotcall.gov website. yet, I get calls from this 201 431 2213 number constantly. I did go to about findlocaljobsnow website and didn't even enter my number. This started after I went to the website. I hate it and I really need help finding out where to complain about this calls. Thanks for your help in advance.

I searched for "Gold's grants club" and found:
Grant Club Gold @ grantclubgold.com
(which mentions "helping american citizens find financial aid")

It seems they are part of an ongoing scam company that the government can not and will not shut down!

I was called today 5 times between 8am-1pm. I answered on the 6th call.

Then a woman asked for me by my first name (which means this can not be random cold calling as they have my name somehow). And this would make sense since my name was filled out on those sponsor ads.

I asked: What's this call about? The woman said quickly: Gold's grants club (or something like that). I would of asked her to repeat that but the phone quality was AWFUL. Just like the last time. It sounds like they're at the World Cup (minus the Vuvuzelas) or airport or busy call center.

Then she said something about "from the US Government grants". She had no accent and definitely sounded American.

Also many times during the call I was fooled into thinking the call was dropped because the call would go dead silent BUT if you wait, it definitely resumes the call. It seemed to happen everytime I spoke, so I waited 5 seconds or longer, then woman came back on and heard exactly what I said during the dead silence.

I calmly told her to remove me from this program and she said "I will process your request." So we will see what happens. I don't think she deleted my number but I'm going to keep asking because that's the only way these calls are going to stop.

It also seems once you answer the call and actually wait how ever long it takes to hear the caller's voice, that they don't call you back for the rest of the day. I think the system is programmed to keep calling back every half hour or every 10 minutes (by looking at my call history) until you answer your phone AND connect to one of their people.

I am getting constant calls from fhis number and they won't stop did anyone ever find out who it is?

Many, many calls, usually during the PM hours PST.  Never a message, but averaging 20 to 30 calls daily.  These idiots need to be shot and put out of their misery!  My phone line is in a correctional facility and is a business number.  I have never made any iquiries to kaplan University or the like.  Aren't there any real jobs in India??????

I am getting a call from (201)431-2213 after every half an hour from yesterday. but as soon as I receive the call no one is answering.It's really very irritating..Please help.

You can also file a complaint against a harrassing number.  I sent my complaint yesterday...there is strength in numbers...file a complaint with me!!!  Let's help eachother.

I originally was getting a call from 201 431-2214. So then i called verision and asked that they block this caller. So then I started getting calls from 201.431.2213. They call, when I answer they do not respond just hang up then they call back. I have called the number and it goes into a loop where no one answers.

Remove me from the call list ASAP

I got 4 calls from this number the very next day after my given to 2 websites.

One of my family members signed up on 2 websites called jobsradar.com and findlocaljobsnow.com - on jobsradar.com they were tricked into filling out "optional sponsor offers". The first was from Canyon University, the 2nd sponsor ad they gave their cell phone number to was Kaplan University, and the 3rd sponsor ad they filled out belonged to Art Institutes school.

I say tricked because they design the ads in a way that look like you have to fill out the ads before you can proceed to do a job search. And since many unemployed people are desperate for work, they blindly fill in the details, and click "Continue" or "Next" without a second thought.

I went back and did my investigation of this website and what the offers looked like. It appears that once any of those 3 schools get your cell phone number, they will call you and ask you about enrolling. I believe this number belongs to one of those 3 schools.

On my call, I picked up didn't say anything and waited. For about 10 to 15 secs, I heard bad static noises and noises like the caller was in a very crowded place like a airport or call center. A woman then came on saying my name and hello? a couple times before ending the call.

My theory is some of you may have used the 2 websites I talked about and had their personal information shared with random companies.

hey man i get calls 24/7 and they are strarting to piss me off now im trying to find this stupid fuckand as soon as i get an alternat number im going to blow his damn phone up and if that doesnt work im filing harrasment charges in his area.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These a** holes have called me 7 times in the last half hour!!! When I answer they hang up. and if u try calling it back you get a recording that says""all circuits are busy"" Can anyone tell me what the hell this number belongs to

Same thing no Idea who this is. I did finally get an answer after 23 calls from them in the last 4 days and it was someone with a strong accent who I could not understand... She said something about money from the government.

In the last 3 days, I have gotten 14 calls from this number. When I have picked up the receiver to answer the call, whoever is on the other end of the line at this number hangs up. This has become a nuisance to me. What can be done to stop this?
