They have been calling me 2-3 times a day for weeks. I never answer and when I finally called back they were looking for someone else. They told me my number will be removed in 48 hours. I'll believe it when I see it.

I called this number back and it stated, "This is HR Block" over and over. I think they must also be a collection type company. I used them and found the IRS had kept my return. School loan. I now have to pay them for what they did. Ooops, keep forgetting. I just thought I would share this with all of you. They never leave a message, I am also on a Do Not Call list, I would imagine it doesn't apply when you owe money,LOL!

Guess it was time for my area to get these scam calls. They are like rust, they never sleep. I hope I live long enough for these parasites to either get a legitimate job or die a horrible death, hoping for the latter. the number -s 201-448-

They are back... almost 11 months later... still no one there.

The only bigger rip off than the spamers/telemarketers/phone fund raisers, is the web sites that claim to let you do free reverse phone number searches than want your credit card to maybe tell you who keeps calling all day and most of the night

Caller ID Jersey City, NJ,  said from Guaranteed Mortgage.  Hung up.

I JUST got a call from this number.  When I called back it said "the magic jack number you have dialed has not yet been assigned"

I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK AND IT HAD A RECORDED MESSAGE THAT I COULD HAVE UNLIMITED PHONE SERVICE ANYWHERE IN THE US (ALREADY DO!) AND TO LOG ON TO MAGICJACK.COM FOR MORE INFO.  THEN THEY SAID THE NUMBER 201 448 3973 HAD NOT BEEN ASSIGNED TO ANYONE YET....LIKE I MIGHT WANT IT OR SOMETHING.  ANYWAY THEY HAVE CALLED 2 TIMES IN 5 DAYS AND NEVER SAY ANYTHING.  I ALREADY SIGNED UP SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  GUESS THAT IS USELESS TOO.

Pretty annoying, they have called me everyday for 3 days, I answer and they hang up.  I am on the Do Not Call list as well...

They called me and tried to get me to sign up for a Gov't sponsored mortgage program.  They wanted me to apply on the phone.  I asked them for info and to e-mail it to me.  No e-mails yet.

keep getting a call from the above number.  When I answer no one is there.  I called the number back and it says state your number if you want to be removed from the data base - but the mailbox is full.

Called 3 times today so far and it's only 1:50 p.m. - when I see the number, I don't answer and no message.  I'm going to block this number.

I acually answered the call -- and they promptly hand up.  When I call back, they say it's from a national marketing company.  If you want to be taken off their call list, leave your phone number -- and then the voice says their mailbox is full.

Yes...they've been calling me "Trying to reach out to my area".   It's a Mortgage LOAN company, pitching you refinancing through them.  They're "reaching out" from Garden City, NY.   I explained to them that since they're "reaching out to my DO NOT CALL Cell phone", they're in violation of the law.  They asked me to disregard the call, and hung up.

The tactic for these callers is this: when they dial your number, it's an automated dialing system. When someone answers the phone, they literally track the time of day that you answered. That is why no one is on the other end. They find out when you are home and then they sell the info to other companies saying this is the best time to call your number.

You can call them directly and be removed from their database, but of course, their automated message always says that their mailbox is full. Gee, I wonder WHY?

The calls are coming from a National Marketing Company in Hoboken New Jersey, from the number 201-448-3973.  How do I know? I called the number from my private line. They have a message stating that you can be taken off their "list" if you leave your number. Of course, their message box is full.

For those of you on the Do Not Call Registry, if you continue receiving calls, you can actually sue.

Whenever they call, I tell them I'm on the DNT registry and the first thing they tell me is "it takes 6 months to get out of the database" and that is when I inform THEM that i've been on DNT call YEARS. I then tell them that I will sue if I get one more call. I never hear back from them again. I keep a list of numbers that have called, to cross reference.

Today's call came in on my cell and had I had it on, I would have told them directly the same thing above.

They started calling last week, I blocked the number after they called 4 times and no one was there. Now I get two calls a day and they leave a voicemail with dead air. Really really irritated!

Why do I get calls from this number when I am on the No Call list?

Called back to remove my number.  It said to state my number w/ area code to be removed, then:  "sorry this customers mailbox cannot except anymore messages".  And the call ended.  Annoying.

I keep getting calls from 201-448-3973. Most of the time, they don't answer when I pick up. Finally, someone asked for me by name and said they were "Reaching out to homeowners for home loans..." She was still talking when I hung up.
