Keeps on calling but doesn't want to leave message

Stupid people keep calling for an Emily Platz. So I told them I was her, confirmed the information they gave me (just said sure) and got their company name. She finally said she was collecting a debt. This is Source RM. I had to ask her three times because she was deliberately mumbling.

She got ALL pissed off when I told her to stop calling our number, we had told them to stop calling multiple times, this was a business and this person didn't work here. She was still yapping when I hung up.

Put an ad on craigslist that they're giving away something for free. Let them see how it feels to be bombarded with annoying/harassing phone calls all the time!!!

This is just one of the many numbers that will call your phone number just to be an annoyance. (Phone # 201-450-9406) It is something that happens if you put your number on the internet. Such as, facebook, craigslist, freesale, and any other social network out there. Your phone numbers are probably not SOLD to these people, but access to that number isn't blocked.
After putting my companies phone number AND my bosses personal phone number on craigslist, offering a job, we started getting these calls again.
The last time, I learned how to play their game. JUST ANNOY THEM. They'll go away. Never accept anything. Every question they ask, if they want a "yes" answer, say "no"
Tell them if they hang on for just a moment, you'll get the owner of the company on the phone for them, then place them on hold. Sometimes this scares them off, and if not, leave them on hold for as long as possible, that should annoy them. If they can't speak to a live person, eventually they will go away.

received call but hung up when no answer.  Started the old "Please press the 1 key if you are not this person...
DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL.

WTH? They call hour after hour and never leave a message on my work phone! Which debt collector is this? I don't have outstanding debt

Received 2 calls from this number in the 11am hour yesterday almost EXACTLY 45 minutes apart to the second....
Just received a 3rd call from this number about 30 min ago...  This time the Robo-Dialer left a message to call them back at 877-251-3771...

It IS "Source RM"... They are looking for previous owner of my phone number.

Received 2 calls from this number in the 11am hour almost EXACTLY 45 minutes apart to the second.... As usual, they NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE.
I suspect it is one of the THOUSANDS of SPOOFED NUMBERS that "Source RM" (a debt collector) uses and changes hourly or daily!

Recorded debt collections call for someone i dont know. i just hung up.

Just called my work number at 9:16am pst.  No idea who this might be.

Just showed up on my work phone as a missed call. DIdn't leave a message.

Same here, many calls but never leaves a message.  8:20 am is annoying.
