Repeated calls.  Assumed telemarketing. No message. No answer on call back.

This is the most annoying call I get EVERY DAY for the past three weeks!
Never anyone there and not hanging up either. I just pick it up and put it hang up now.

Just like everyone else, I have received several calls in the last few days.  No one is on the other end of the line.  This happened to me months ago and stopped but it has re-started.

Actually talked to one of these callers once... They asked for the person who handles the AT&T bill.  I asked if they were with AT&T, and they went into something about a multi-level telephone service etc. blah blah, and I hung up.  We get a call every day now with just silence on the other end; 2 weeks now.

I, too, got calls from this phone number continuously but they stopped a few weeks ago.  It seems that they have started up again.  I mentioned it to my brother, a criminal investigator.  He suggested I google the number to see if I could find out who owns the number.  Thank you for your comments because I am glad it's just a telemarketing company. I am extremely unhappy that my AT&T business phone number is now in an offshore database.

This sounds like piracy -- "unregulated service" scammers, who get you to sign up for some bogus "service." Incredibly, they can actually use your phone company's lines AND the billing process to "get you" for a few dollars or cents a month until their scam is blown. Using the phone company lines is not actually illegal, but in doing so, they prey on phone companies' customers which is of course fraud. As I understand it, if your phone company is in a period of change or turnover, these scammers can swoop in and take advantage while their regulatory rules are in limbo. It's only speculation, but I wonder if the recent Homeland Security lawsuits against certain phone companies (like mine: Qwest) have anything to do with it. ALSO -- I talked to ALLSEC once too, and the young person who talked to me SLIPPED with his language and said "Have you been sent over to billing?" and I caught it, and said, "Billing?? I haven't agreed to buy anything!" and the kid was flustered and said, "Oh, I mean our information center," or something like that. DON'T LET THEM TALK YOU INTO ANYTHING.

Same as comments above. Hang up as soon as we answer.

Received multiple dead air calls.  When calling back, I normally get a busy signal.  Got through today and asked them to take my numbers off their list.  Person who answered said it would take 24 hours.  We'll see.

Same experience as all of you. At least we are not alone. Irked yes, alone no.

They just called me and I told them to call RadyGa Atesba (above on the list) because I was sure he wanted to change his phone service ;-) Figured I'd let the Marines handle it LOL

This is a cool site. It reminds me of where people would go when they are put on hold.....so we can all talk together while waiting.

call everyday and them hang up when call is answered.  What is the deal- who pays these people to annoy you?

the same ALLSEC number keeps calling me.  Since it comes up on the Caller ID, I never answer it.  Since they have called 4 times since 8am, I decided to google their number and found their site.
After reading everyone and finding that they speak with poor English, I decided to do what they used to do in the Marines during the war.  They spoke in PigLatin.  I think I'll see if I can talk in another language such as piglatin and see if they'll put me on their own 'do not call list.' I can just say ditto to all of them above.  We have 4 phone lines here and I have called the number back and put all 4 on the company's do not call list. I too, know all about reporting to the FCC.  I'm just going to keep calling them, over and over again. Maybe they'd like to buy a pool table! HA!

Continue to call and harass about changing from current phone company to reduced rates. Told them not interested and not to call back.Of course, this never works. Called name was Serena Matthews or so she said

this number calls almost everyday.  there will be dead silence and a person with an Indian-sounding accent will answer.  i asked to be removed from their calling list, but the calls continue.

I receive telephone calls from this number every 30 min and when I answer no one is on the line.  It's starting to get annoyning

They have called everyday work day for the last 2 weeks, no one answers when I pick up, they don;t answer when I call back.

called me three times today 8:15 am, 11 am and 4:20 pm.  all three i told to take me off and never call again.  don't answer if they call

Get a call from them a couple times a week.  Someone who can't speak clear english always asks for who is in charge of our telephone account.  About a year ago, I fell for a scam that began like that and they took over our phone bill.  Took weeks to get them off our account and get us back to normal.  Don't even bother talking to them, if you see the number, pick up and hang up.

These clowns also call me on a daily basis, caller ID says Newark, NJ  201-520-9286.  No one answers, then they hang up.  I think I've gotten them on the phone on prior occasions and asked to be removed from their call list; guess they are hoping someone else will pick up the phone.

I never answered the phone. This number I listed shows up on caller ID 3-4 times daily on weekdays.

I have received numerous calls from this number and it comes up as ALLSEC.  These calls have been over the last several days and at least six times today.  I told the same guy over and over I am on the no call list and he ignores me or acts like he has no idea what I'm talking about.

I have been getting several dead air calls for the past few days.  Last night around quitting time (5:00pm) I got one that talked to me.  They ask if they could speak to the person that handles our Qwest account.  I told them no and hung up.  They called back this morning and ask the same thing and I told them, this call was no authorised by Qwest and I was not going to talk to them and hung up.  We will see how many more times they call.  I also looked the company up on the internet and it has something to do with Hidu's and East Indian people.  "providing quality relationships" is the message on the web sight.

Like the others listed, I have received dozens of dead air calls.  I even tried staying on to get someone to talk to me.  Finally, I called them and inquired about the reason for their calls.  The woman I spoke to spoke very softly in English I could barely make out.  I asked them to remove my organization from their call list and informed them that they were wasting my company time and that I frankly, found their tactics quite rude and unprofessional.  I'm interested to see if the calls stop or not.  BTW, we are registered on the do not call list and have been since it began.  Next: contact the FCC.

frequent calls.  Usually no response on their end.  Called back once and a woman answered.  Today I will call again and advise them to take me off their call list.  FCC allows you to sue them if they call again.

Twelve calls in eight days.  I never answer, but they don't give up, either.

I work at Cincinnati Bell and had a call from a customer who received a call from this number.  They claimed they were from Cincinnati Bell.  That is not true.  This is a telemarketer located out of New Jersey

Call several times a day and never leave message. Have quit answering when # appears

Received 6 dead air calls today and finally stayed on the last one to see who it was.  Girl said she was Jessica from ATT. (Jessica does not sound like an East Indian name)  When I pushed she finally said she was from Reduced Rate Long Distance and refused to give me her phone number.  When I hung up, I star 69'ed and got the number.  When Googled, this came up.  I tried to call ATT Customer Service (NOT!!!) and the girl there really didn't care, but said she took the infomation.  I'll also report this to the FCC.
