You should've asked him if he scams his own Grandparents or Parents that way?

A guy with a accent called up, asking whether we were senior citizen.  He said we could receive money
from government insurance.  He just need our information.  We stoped the phone call .

Thick accented male continues to call my restaurant during lunch advising of 2 reductions this month on my telephone bill. He continues wanting to verify information. I have reported him to the FTC and asked that they send my check to the above address after prosecution.

Get phone calls everyday from this number......finally answered......a guy with a thick accent started telling me about 2 reductions on my phone bill.  It was not my phone company, so I hung up.   I called the number back one day and a young boy answered.  I asked him who I was talking to and he hung up!

This company or whatever calls at least 6 to 10 times a week saying they are the onlline yellow pages wanting to vertify our inofrmation for our free listing.  We have asked repeately to be taken off their call list which has not happened.

this number call me every morning to every other morning same time and hangs up for over a year. i am on the do not call list i reported it twice and nothing is done about it.

A call into a place of business and hung up without a reply...

Calls twice a week my business number and says nothing.

Called again today.  Agent gave his name, then the name of the company, stated so fast and in such a low tone that I couldn't quite make out what he said, although I could tell that it wasn't Advantis.  When I asked him to repeat his company name he asked if I handled our Frontier account.  When I again asked him his company name, he repeated his name and company (again unintelligible, but definitely not Advantis) and then stated his company was helping Frontier to be in compliance with the new fees, then asked if I was in charge of the Frontier bill again.  Hung up when I told him that I wasn't confirming anything until he clearly told me the company name.  Am I the only one who has talked to this idiot since June?

Caller ID reads New Jersey.

Called again, hung up when I answered.  I called back, and got a recording thanking me for calling Advantis Telecommunications and to press 1 if I wanted to save on my long distance bill.

Asked for the person who handles our phone account.  Hung up when I asked why our account in Illinois was of any interest to a company in New Jersey.

The caller ID sayd Union City, NJ.  Calls just about everyday to a my business number.  Whenever I answer, it just hangs up. Very frustrating as I am a receptionist and we take calls from all over the country.

Someone called from this number & asked for the person that handled our Qwest account.  When I indicated that I was that person, he said that two credits would be posting to our account and that he wanted to explain the credits before they showed on our bill.  Then he started asking for information.  I ended the call without giving out any info.  Who gives out unwarranted credits and then calls to explain them?  I'm not sure what the scam is, but beware.

Called with a survey question- What things did I admire the very most about Barrack Obama? I said that I admire that he will only be a one term prezdent. I also admired that he struggled very hard to consider the political consequences and how it might hurt him before he decided to let the Navy SEALS, who totally did all the work, put a cap in Osama Obama Bin Laden's azz.

Called my business number.  Operator asked for who handles our Qwest account.  We don't have a Qwest account.  I told her to put us on the Do Not Call list.  She apologized and said okay.
