Re-po man :(

Called this number and it was from Capitol One Auto Finance. I have never done business with them. I was trying to get to a live person to have my number removed. Unless I input last 4 numbers of social security to be directed to the proper department for my account, it will not let me talk to a live person. I input my numbers, but of course, it was an invalid number. Since I don't know who they are calling for, I have no way of getting to a live person.

Must be Capital One.  As you said they ARE relentless.  I was getting 10-15 calls per day (weekends, holidays,6 A.M, 10 P.M) and finally said screw it.  They handed the account over to a collection agency and they've been looking for the vehicle for 5 months.  I'll likely give it back to them in about 12 more months or so to make up for the HASSEL of dealing with them.  I too had a payment arangement but one agent didn't know anything about it when I called to make a payment and they wanted payment in FULL.  Screw 'em.

i am not certain but i will assume this is capital one. i am behind and i do get calls from them constantly from MANY other numbers and i did check to see if they have a NJ office. what's really frustrating about working with them is that the calls are relentless even though i may have just spoken to someone to make arrangements and even after i make a payment; they just keep coming hour after hour.
