Old Douggie is at it again! His fax machine at 951-392-2480 called our home number at 5:30AM Wednesday and woke us up. Got an old fax machine yesterday and hooked it up to our home line yesterday evening. Called again at 9:15 this morning while I was at work. Life insurance scam. Fax back number is 253-528-3669. "Removal" number is 206-203-3466. We are on state and federal do not call lists.

Just got one from (caller ID) Doug Burman, 951-392-2488, spam fax for life insurance, at 12:30 a.m.   Removal fax number 206-203-3466 is a dead end.  Reported to FCC, for all the good that does.

They send spam to fax machines, even residences, promoting retail credit card terminals, along with advertising for business cash advances. They call in the middle of the night, and don't process an 'unsubscribe' request. Report them to the 'CRTC'.

Got a fax after 11pm last nite. "Introducing Canada's First FREE Terminal Program!", it was for debit card terminals, payroll, inventory, etc. Says for info to fax form to 201-537-0599. Received this fax at my HOME!

I've reported this company to the FCC on the government website numerous times and continue to do so every time I receive one of their faxes. You do have to fill out a form and attach a scan of the fax.
I recommend that everyone file a complaint with the FCC every time they receive a nuisance fax and maybe something will come of it. I have no idea what else can be done.

Doug Burman called me today and assured me that his co is NOT sending faxes to my state.  I'm calling the insurance commissioner of my state this week, to attempt to flush out the identity of this nuisance company.  I should be more careful about going to war without identifying the true enemy.  Even then, sometimes, it's not worth it.

Wrong guy. Those who try to stop faxes from 201 area code by contacting Doug Burman Insurance will not be successful. That is not their fax number. 201 area code is NJ. Doug Burman Insurance fax number is 253-212-9048.

Actually, Doug's last name is actually spelled BURMAN.  The junk faxes to direct to 201-537-0599 or 2015370599 are from DOUG BURMAN INSURANCE, in Washington state, and DOUG BERMAN'S NUMBER IS 1-253-584-6052.  Once more, the waster of paper and toner is DOUG BURMAN INSURANCE, and I believe that DOUG BURMAN'S home number is 253-584-6052.  I just reached him there at 5:30 on a Saturday afternoon, and I promised to call him at 4 or 5 a.m. the next time I receive a fax call from his junk company in the wee hours of the morning.  I WILL BE HIS WORST NIGHTMARE, or at least I'll interrupt his best dreams.

I just called DOUG BERMAN AT HIS HOME #253-584-6052 and I expressed my extreme displeasure at these junk faxes in the middle of the night.  Now YOU know too who to call at 4 a.m. while his pathetic insurance co is waking you and wasting your paper and toner.  I have received at least 30 of these annoying calls and I LOVE having his home phone number for retaliation.

A couple of days ago I received an unwanted fax from some unnamed "insurance company".  They want personal information about you and your family, which is to be faxed to 201-537-0599.  In order to get removed from their list of future messages, your are told to register you fax number at www.removemynumber.com.  At that site, it takes 2 numbers to register:  your fax number and some number that's supposed to be at the bottom of the fax you got.  Guess what - no such number on the fax.  Plus, according to another post below, www.removemynumber.com. is a bad place to go to because all they do is verify the fact that the fax number they used for you is a valid fax number.

Hmmmm - this one might be alittle tough to get rid of.

The best part for me is that they are trying to fax to my home phone number!!  My fax machine is on another line.  It comes up on my caller ID as a private number.  Just to find out who this is I had to connect my fax to my home number after being awakened between 2 and 4 am three nights in a row.

Over the past year, I too have been awakened numerous times in the middle of the night by these lowlifes.  The first time I received one of their faxes I stupidly went to the www.removemynumber.info site and entered my fax numbers, only to receive even more frequent faxes from them!

Your suggestion to submit a complaint to the FCC seemed like a good one, though I have my doubts that anyone there will actually do anything about it.  However, I followed the link to the FCC website and found myself bieng asked to fill out a form with a lot of my personal information and aborted the process midway.  I guess I've become so paranoid about giving out my information that now I can't bring myself to even file a complaint!  I really don't understand why the FCC requires all this information.  It feels like the tail is wagging the dog here.

If anyone here feels their already registered complaint with the FCC has accomplished something please post it here, and I will reconsider lodging my own.  Thanks.

They sent me a health insurance fax at 1:00am!

With total disregard for my fax number being on the do not call registry they woke me up at 1:00 in the morning. They took a piece of my paper and used my own ink to print their advertisment and told me to register my number with their website instead of the official government one if I don't want them to do it again!

These are obviously thugs who feel themselves beyond the reach of our legal system.
I would appreciate it if anyone could provide an address for this company.

That's the point: it's NOT legal. Fax junk has the same status as unsolicited telephone calls. If you don't have a pre-established business relationship with the sender, or haven't specifically requested that they send information to you, it is illegal for them to send solicitations for goods or services.

Never, ever, ever submit a request to remove through these "removemynumber" websites. Your request simply verifies that they've reached a valid fax number, and your number is then added to their lists so they can send you MORE crap.

Junk Fax

Just got their unsolicted fax this morning at my home in S. Cal.
It states you have to FAX back a request to to removed from their list!!
I just can't believe people do business this way and it's legal!

We received their crap fax at 4:00 in the morning!!!  It's very unsettling to wake up suddently to your phone ringing in the middle of the night!  I sent a fax back to them expressing my disgust toward their business practices and requested they remove me immediately.  I also followed their instructions to be removed at www.Removemynumber.INFO ... we'll see if either works.  I don't like receiving any fax blasts, but it really ticks me off when it's in the middle of the night!  "Stupid is as stupid does!!!!"

We need some sort of automatic phone dialer to constantly plug up there system
