I think u should call them back,because those are really dangerous files and could even damage your computer permanently.....

A person with a strong accent called saying she was a tech for windows 8. I couldn't understand her so she gave me another person who was easier to understand. He said his name was Kevin. He said he receieved reports that there were errors on my computer. I asked if I should take it in and have it looked at. He said no, it was a software problem that could cause me to have problems with my computer. He had  me open up some operating files but because of storms in the area, I had no internet access.  I asked if I could call him back when I had power. He gave me the # 888-334-6265. I looked it up but couldn't get a match on one site. Another told me there is an alternate 201-334-6265.  I do not have windows 8 so I got suspicious and have not called back.

this number is a telemarketing scam. they try to hack into your computer. the authorities will hear about them today (if they haven't already). do not fall for their game.

my mother got a call from this number (201-603-3646). it is a scam. hang up on them. i am contacting the authorities after this post.

Who is using this number?

Person with what seemed to be an Indian/Pakistani accent called today and told me that they had received reports of problems with my computer. He then asked me if I could log on my computer with him.

I asked if I could call him back. He gave me this phone number and a toll free number 888-334-6265.

He also said that the website was called world wide pc support.info. I went online to check it out and and of course, there was no such site.

I will be contacting authorities.
