You should check your U-Verse account to make sure it's not hacked. AT&T does NOT use this number to do callbacks. It's FRAUD. It happened to me. They took over my cells.

I just spoke to AT&T about U-verse service and then began receiving calls from this number with and no one would speak .  Probably associated with AT&T.

Caller claimed to be from at&t about a service call.

they left a message on my cell phone saying that they were from at&t calling in reference to a problem with my service and that they have been trying to reach me unsuccessfully and that i need to call them asap to resolve the issue. funny thing is we don't have any services through them. i could hardly understand the message because of her thick indian accent. the number she told me to call back is not even the number in my caller id.

This was a confirmation call back from at&t for me, I had just made some changes to my uverse account and a payment. I was driving at the time and asked her to leave me my confirmation on a voicemail. This is the number that it came from.

Got a call from this number. When we answered there was silence! We called back with no answer!
