received a call from someone wanting Mary Kay from 917-267-0428 and wanted me to email her at april!makeup1.us.

I do not know this person and when I called number then I get a busy signal.

oh my goodness I cant believe this just happen to me as well. Something told me not to order the products and I am glad I didn't. When she told me that her debtor was going to send me a check I already knew that didn't sound right. I just figure it out that this was a scam because who sends a check and tells you to send the remaining money back to her and that if she could trust me. I don't know but I am going to report this to the police. I even gave this piece of s*** my addressed cause she said that she was going to send me the payment. So she told me good news the check has been sent. So today something told me to research this name and phone number lo and behold I find this website. This is really sad. I am not stupid I am in the military one thing we get taught about military does get people like this who loves to scam soldiers. Its really sad people do this. Word of advice don't ever cash a check unless you see that person;s ID card and that name on check matches up with tthat person including id card. I am a Mary K consultant as well I cant believe I got hit like this. Totally not safe her email is Elizabeth_Schrader@ymail.com

Got a text from this number from a Maggie wanting to order from Mary Kay. Also wanted to send me a list instead of ordering directly from my website.

Wife got a text from this number from a Robbie Wooten trying to buy Thirty-One from her. wanted to send a list instead of just placing an order on her site.  very fishy

Got the same exact thing as you, same email from this person.

I got a text asking for my email to order Mary Kay items. She had sent a decent list. There is an address for Janesville. I'm so glad ya'll have listed these scams!

They place an order and:
- they send a fake check for more than the total price and want you to send them back the difference via Western Union or a Green Dot card
- they send a fake check and want you to pay their "shipper" (the same scammer using a fake website)
- they want to use Paypal and send a fake Paypal email.

Text message received this morning quoting...Good morning, this is Elizabeth i was going through your Marykay store online and found some nice product that i would love to order from you.Kindly get back to me through elizabeth_schrader@ymail.com so i can provide you with the list of products i will like to order from you happy Sunday.

My received text verbatim " Holly, Good evening this Alison i was going through your Mary Kay store online and found some nice product that i will love to order from you also email me alisonbarnes580@gmail.com so i can provide you with the list of the products i will like to order from you have a nice wonderful evening  Happy Sunday!

I just got the same text message wanting to buy Mary Kay! She emailed me a huge list of items! good thing I looked up this number!

Just got same text. Wanted me to email alisonbarnes568@gmail.com. Did not respond.

I received a text from this same number. She said her name was Ashlyn and she wanted to buy Mary Kay. She wanted me to email her at ashlyndeshotels2006@yahoo.com so she could send me a list of products she wanted to order. The text had multiple spelling and gramatical errors. I know alot of scams are going around so I decided to research this number before I went any further.

This is what she texted my cell verbatim (bad spelling, grammar and all): "Good afternoon, this is Alison i was going through your Marykay store online and found some nice product that i will love to order from you. email me alisonbarnes148@yahoo.com so i can provide you with the list of the products i will like to order from you have a wonderful evening!"

What sparked my attention was how did she get my cell and also if she has a Newark, NJ cell phone and her address is: 356 Serenity Road, Wheeling, WV 26003, how did she find me? I did a test on the Mary Kay site and even if you have the person's first and last name you have to input a state in order for the MK site to locate the IBC. Another thing that I found peculiar was if she made the statement in a text message that she was going through "my site", then how come she did not know my first and last name? However, in the e-mail she wanted my FULL name, complete address and cell number (yet, she already had my cell number). Be wary of this scammer and spread the word!!

I got a text message from Alison stating she was at my website and wanted an email address to send a list of products.  I thought she was a referral and sent her my e-mail address.  If I got a list you did.  I checked today there was no email.  It finally dawned on me that this could possible be a scam.  Last year I actually received an e-mail from my mary kay website from someone who wanted to order products.  It was a scam.  I sent a text tell this Alison person not to text me or email me.  People are so evil these day, you really have to be aware and depend on the Spirit of God to lead and guide you into ALL truth.

Received text stating she would like to order Mary Kay items from web site and would like a email sent to alisonbarnes148@yahoo.com.  I called the number strange recording indicating extension unavailable.  Grateful to the previous reports to confirm it is a scam.

Just got a text from this number.  The english is bad and I'm taking it as a scam.

I also received a msg regarding buying Mary Kay products from cherrelle.perkins@yahoo.com  . Told them to order from my website online. Also received a very similar txt from 385-200-5596 from Rita Adams.

I received a text wanting me to email, to revive a Mary Kay order. But when asked for more information, I got a long text about how her Mary Kay consultant is dying with cancer and she just wants to find a new consultant.

So glad this info is posted!  Just got the text about wanting Mary Kay items.  Why do people feel the need to do this kind of thing???

I got a text message Thursday from 201-623-3638 claiming to be Minerva, and I found a real Facebook for her name and email address match, but it says she's lives in New York but told me Georgia.  She wants Thirty One this time, offering to send me a bank check I told told her no she could order from my site.  Haven't heard nothing else from her.

Apparently Cherrelle Perkins has realized everyone knows it's a scam and changed her number to 201-623-3638, but it's the same message everyone has been getting from 347-354-7858.  She texts you wanting to buy Mary Kay but won't let you text back, then emails a list of items.  It's a scam!!  Read more reports about it at the # 347-354-7858.
