I recieve calls from this Number 201-626-6256. They leave no message. I do not want them calling me and would like to know how they got my cell phone number.

Got a phone call from a number that I don't "know" or recognize.
I didn't answer, but looked up the number here.
They left no message.
I am on the National Do-Not-Call List,
and have been for over a year now.
(I guess this is our government at work for us.)
I'm going to http://www.fcc.gov/complaints
and see if that can get the government
to work for me.
(Yes I will go through all those steps.)

I get calls from this constantly as well as other numbers all from Financial Services or Card Holder Services. When you go ahead and click "1" to speak to someone...and you try to tell them not to call..they hang up on you. Today I clicked "1" and very nicely told them I was curious as to why I get hung up on ..why would I trust your company..."CLICK" I got hung up on before I could even finish.

Same as above : offered to lower my interest to 1-3% (yeah right).. As soon as I asked which card or who he was affiliated with he hung up. Avoid at all costs

I've received several calls from this company regarding "card holder services" I think if I actually had a credit card this might worry me. I don't however but I imagine they get several individuals in this manner.

My phone just rang with this # in the caller ID. I didn't recognize it so I didn't answer. They did not leave a message either. Very bothersome!!

FRAUD: This number is in use by credit card fraudsters - the claim to know you have a credit card that's in good standing and so they're going to lower your interest rate... But of course they aren't from your bank so they do not know these things - they are phishing and hang up the moment you ask any awkward questions

Just got a call from this # and same thing - no one on the other end. Guess they are scouting to see when it is the best time to call and get someone at home. So annoying is right!!

found out that when you call this number back it states that they are disconnected. Did a further search and found out this information: The 201-625 exchange is serviced by the following companies within the FAIR LAWN ratecenter.
?ALLEGIANCE TELECOM OF NEW JERSEY, INC.
?LEVEL 3 COMMUNICATIONS, LLC - NJ
?CELLCO PARTNERSHIP DBA VERIZON WIRELESS - NJ
Calls are routed via OCN 4145 on a switch located in the Fair lawn, New Jersey area.
I did call my Verizon Wireless and they stated that they would leave a message and it would be a different phone number -one that I would recognize as theirs-- 800#- and when we would call back it would state what they wanted or to call them. Verizon Wireless believes it is a telemarketer and not from them.

SAME HERE!!! I got a missed call (because I didn't notice my phone ringing) from this same number. Just called it back and it said it has been disconnected. weird.

I saw this number calling me, but I ignored it as I do not answer calls from unfamilar numbers. First I did a google search on it to be sure it was not a debt collector. None of the results showed it was from a collector. All the info I have is this number comes from Secaucus, NJ...nothing shows if it is a person or business owning this number. So I called the number back and I got a recording saying the number is disconnected or is no longer in service.
