Today 4/2/2012 I went in for my interview at Frontline Security. I paid my $70.00 fee and realized they wanted my to pay another $264.00 for my license. After Paola from Human Resources (Jersey City) explained to me the their payments I knew something was not right. When I got home I went online and did my research for this company. Also just remembered someone I knew who also applied in the past.(she is still waiting for a job since summer 2011). Not only am i assed out $70.00 but i am desperately in need for a job. I been on welfare for some time now and want to be out of the system. That $70.00 could of been used for my kids.  I'm so disappointed with this company and I will be notifying the news. For anyone who is in need for a job please avoid this company.

I went for an interview in the beginning of June/2011. I was immediately hired and promised $14 an hour once I received my SORA. I was charged a $75 fee and over $200 for the SORA(which I later found shouldn't have been over $100). I passed the SORA test with a temporary sora which they wouldn't honor. I went for my fingerprints(an additional fee) out in Paramus. A week and a half later, I received my card. I haven't received a phone call from them since. I've made numerous calls to them but was sent to a full voice mail for "human resources" and at some point I did leave a detailed message and have yet to receive any call at all. I, actually, went down there and they told me they had no openings and I should be patient! You don't advertise in a newspaper unless you have openings!!!! That's business 101. So, I sent an e-mail to the Better Business Bureau and the State Police and told them they should investigate these deceptive business practices. I'm very upset because I really need a job and because they "hired" me I stopped looking and now I'm even worse off then before.

Employment scams (where there is *NO* job) include but are not limited to:
1. Victims pay $$$ up front for required crap like uniforms, certification, background check, 1/2 airline ticket, etc.
2. You don't quite qualify for the job but are counseled to go back to school (scammer gets paid on college referral).
3. You are offered an interview and find out later it's a no-salary, commission-only, you-pay-expenses, perhaps-MLM sales job with poor leads.
4. You give your personal info because you believe you are applying for a real job which can lead to ID theft.
5. Your job as financial agent is to receive checks, cash them at your own bank, and Western Union cash away (checks will bounce).
REMEMBER -- THERE IS *NO* JOB.

Yeah i call this company frontline security for job. the first thing they ask if you have SORA license. I do have a SORA so they told me to email my resume. I did this twice but no luck. I guess they need people without SORA so they can take their money at leave them with no job and no money.

They have ads in the Jersey Journal (under this number because everyone is used to the main one now, the 201-729-1999 number) that say stuff like, "50 POSITIONS avail. FT/PT No exp nec. will train $8-$15 an hr."

Umm, no. They don't have 5 positions, let alone 50. They lost numerous accounts in New Jersey so how can they say they have 36 or 50 open positions? And $15 an hour? Umm, no, try again. That's to entice you to answer the ad.

They only want to overcharge you for the SORA (security guard) license. THAT'S IT!

Call them if you don't believe me. TELL them you already have it and want to apply and see the runaround they give you...

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Worst security guard company in the Tri-state area! They won't pay you for overtime, no real chain of command, they'll try to charge you uniform until you stop working for them (even though you already paid in full), This company, Front-line Security in East Rutherford and Newark, NJ, OVERcharging you for a New Jersey SORA (Security Guard Registration Act) license and then never hiring you so you have no job but they keep your money...

Ah, the scams with this company go on and on and on...

AVOID DANNY, TIMOTHY AND FRONT-LINE SECURITY AT ALL COSTS!
