I received this call and when i answered the person hung up. I called back and the phillipino lady wanted and I abused her with insults and profanity. She wanted my name and number and I told her "you're a scam and i know the number is popping up" and she just kept repeating herself so i called her every nasty name in the book and i also cussed her out in tagolog, which surprised her. She then said "i cannot tolerate this type of language ma'am" and hung up. I called again and did the same thing but this broad repeated my phone number back to me and i threatened to chop her head off, she said she removed it and after calling her a wh*** she hung up. I'm going to call them every hour and see how they like it. I also blocked the number through comcast

calls two and three times a day.  the only way we can stop this is complaining to the Attorney Generals office in your state so we can all have a BLOCK NUMBER ON ALL OUR PHONES WITHOUT PAYING ANOTHER FEE.....Telemarkerters call and you will not hear anyone until the computer gets a seller on the phone....SCAM  

Keep getting call from 201 806 9952 . No one speaks. And can't get thru when I try to call back.

This IS vonage is just their direct line and this is why is hard to find in their website because is not the toll free number. Call back from a land line and hit 0 few times to get to a live operator. Request ur number to b removed from the calling list. It takes up to 30 days. All they will ask u for is the phone number they have been calling. Don't give them any more info. That's all they need to place u on a DNC list.

This is not a vonage number and it has nuthing to do with vonage. Checked around the web and this is a skam as many telemarketing calls. Make sure you dont provide any information to this people. Plus if you have a vonage plan if you look threw theyre website it clearly states that incoming calls are free... so there is no need to worry about your 400 minutes running out since those 400 minutes are for outgoing calls. Please read your information from proper trusted sites.

It appears the Shelton resident is part of the one ring scam. Scammers call your phone once and then hang up. Then later, when you call them back, the thieves hit you with huge charges.

This number keeps coming up on my caller id...several times today.  The last time, I answered it and after a couple of seconds someone was speaking in another language and then hung up.  I've read that many other people are having the same issue.  It is a Vonage phone number.

I have vonage, we got this call today while out, with no message.  Later I answer and the agent takes a second to get on then asks me if I speak spanish then hangs up.  This is very suspicious to me.

Keeps calling me

Got a call from this number 1-201 806 9952.  Caller ID says Vonage, but nobody on the phone.  Get this at least twice a day for the last couple of weeks.  Don't know who it is, but I need to block this number.

Its funny, they call me and when i answer there's a message - "We are sorry, there are no available rep for telemarketing at this time." and hanges up on me.

I just started Vonage a month ago and 3 days ago, twice a day, I get a call from this number.  After answering once and no one said anything, I stopped picking up the phone and just let the call forward to voicemail, WHICH THEY NEVER DO SAY ANYTHING.

I'm on a plan that allows 6 hours a month of calling for 1 flat price ($12.99) , but then if you go over that 6 hours, they start charging you 5 cents a minute. I only use about 2 hours a month so far, so I'm just wondering if this is intentional to run up the time to kick it over 6 hours to generate more income beyond the basic plan by getting that 5 cents a minute extra from me.

But for those of you not on Vonage I don't see how they could profit by bothering you with calls like this.

I been receiving callas from 201-806-9952, 268-762-0042 and 268-762-0130 very late at night and also during the day, we do not answer but Vonage is charging me for those calls!!!

This number is related to a 202-241-9653 number. I get the 9653 number on my caller id, but the indian "police officer" tells us to call the 202 number. Be grateful you dont have to answer it. see my details about the scam under  the 202-241-9653 number

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLLING ME AND HANGING UP....MUST BE A SCAM AND IM NOT SPANISH OMG

Calls once or twice per day. They leave empty voicemails. They don't speak back when called back. Sometimes they don't even answer when I call.
The Do-Not-Call Registry doesn't even block these. Both my house phone and cellphone are on it, and ever since I registered my numbers on the registry, more telemarketers, and whatnot, call more than before I registered my numbers.

I have received numerous faxes from this number.  it wastes my paper, ink and time.  Thanks to the above comments, I have listed my numbers with the Do not call Registry and will have the number blocked.

El Paso, Texas.....getting this number once/twice daily no message or ID and one or two daily Vonage calls that do display ID........

I have had no interest, nor will I now have any consideration for Vonage....

Also on National and State do not Call....makes me wonder if the government is selling the list for campaign contributions....I keep an " old school answering machine in the garage with the ringer off, seems it's filling up quicker lately....

Annoying....i answer and no one there. Other commenters here say they speak spanish when they call. The person that had this phone number before us was named Maria, and we are getting a lot of calls for her. Some are speaking Spanish when I answer. I just tell them that I got her old phone number. They just apologize and take me off of their list. Not a big deal.
