i just got a call from this number. Mike Walter from Legal investigation dept. His accent is so thick i can barely understand him. He says I will face legal action. They even called my office line! Hilarious. A total scam.

This number called again states I owe for payday loan since 2010 . Arrest warrant for fraud tomarrow I didn't get a computer until Xmas 2011 calls 2 or times a week saying he's a lawyer wants to know my lawyers name told him I didn't need one I'll see him in court he told me to have bail money unless I want to pay off the loan sounds to me he's the fraud

This guy that keeps calling me speaks with a heavy accent and at first he says he's from a law firm but when I didn't go along with it he started saying the most obscene things. He calls me over and over cussing and its really disturbing. I've called the police and they said that this happens all the time. How do I make it stop?

I have been getting calls from this number stating a lawsuit has been filed against my name and SSN. He introduced himself as Attorney Robert Marshall.

got a call from this other #201-916-7946 didnt answer but got massage too ;the massage set call to 201-917-7946 I call , they set is the legal department they saying that someone has filed criminal charges against me I know its a scam and i will be arrested for fraud they scare me and they ben calling all day I did make a complaint to to the FTC. I know its a scam

Got a call from this number. I didn't answer but got a message from "The Legal Department" stating that if I didn't call back right away I would be arrested for fraud. SCAM! Gotten calls like this before. They try to scare you.

I have been recieving the same phone calls. I know its a scam and just don't bother answering anymore. I did make a complaint to to the FTC. Thanks to the link Alfalfa provided. Thanks bro;)

I have been getting same calls now for 3 days. i had to go through my cell company to have the numbers blocked for a fee and now the b*****ds are calling from an emergency numer which is fake. I blocked my number called them back and asked where they were calling from that was it and they told me to go to hell and hung up .

This is a criminal extortion ring operating out of India. ABC News released an investigative report on it in June. The FTC has indicted one of its ringleaders for criminal fraud:
