Interesting - went to file one of the several #'s from these schmucks on donotcall.gov - which, by the way, is something everyone who recieves telemarketing calls and is on the Do Not Call list should do every time - and received this msg:

Looks like these a-holes have found a loophole in the system and are exploiting it for all it's worth.  I finally got them on the phone and it was def. a call center, they guy couldn't pronounce my last name so he asked for Mr. Jones, I told him there's noone here by that name, and he launched into his pitch anyways.  I cut him off, clearly said "Please put me on your no solicitations and do not call list" and hung up.  We'll see what happens.

It is starting again. I successfully had 201-918-5778 blocked by my phone carrier and now the same people are calling me again, non-stop.  My phone number is on the "do not call" list but this company is just thumbing their nose at this.  They need to be stopped from this agressive and annoying telemarketing!  I really wish I could afford to subscribe to a service to find out who they are!  Surely someone can come up with this information and shut them down!!!!

Same with me 7 times today, no one is there.  Tried calling and get recording.  I must say I left them a nice voice mail. :-)

I've had the same problem. This # called me 12 times today. When I answered they hung up. When I called the # back I got a message saying the mailbox at such and such extension was full and to try back later. I left a message saying "stop calling me. Take me off your call list. please." they still called over and over after that message was left. Perhaps I should ask how I can help them and see if they respond.... likely not. how can we get this to stop? what are we missing? what are we not seeing here? or asking? do any of us have anything/something in common? do we know the same people? did we all sign up for something online and put our phone # in something, I know I did but i can't remember what it was I signed up for?

It's from New Jersey ... I'm guessing it may be an automated calling system.  Answer it ..

This number has called me 3 times tonight and several other times the past few days.  I've never answered it or tried to call it back.  I wished they'd stop calling me!

I have recd phone calls today latest was just @ 6:20pm. They didn't leave a msg and the # goes to a voice mail with no name. Who is this? They are driving me crazy...

This number has called me twice today and I do not know why.  I tried to call it back and got a voice mail saying the person at that extention is unavailable. I want it to stop!

Calls about the same time each day.  When answered no one there.  What a waste of time and money for me and the caller.

They have called 6 or 7 times in the last day. I answered the first time and it was a foreign girl, maybe Indian. Wanted to send me a free package from google tools but needed a credit card # for shipping cost. I said no thanks and she kept on until I hung up on her. They keep calling.

Found an info message that connects this number and others (918-4828, 918-5778) to Google Money Tree which is listed as an internet scam.  Phone carrier is "Level 3 Communications, LLC, NJ".  

For the time being, I am not answering ANY calls from area code 201.  This works for me as there is no one I know who SHOULD be calling me from that location.

I started getting these calls after my friends twitter account started getting spamed by a thing for online google kits.. I thought it was her tweeting about it so I clicked it and it really wasn't her.. Now tons of pop ups come up on the computer and I'm getting these phone calls.. Even if I answer they don't talk though.. I've gotten one voicemail, but it was just the lady saying "helloi".... I have no clue how to get them to stop!

Sounds like Google is the common link.  They call me every 1/2 hr on my cell phone. I have not answered the calls until recently.  Recently I have answered it but do not have the phone to my ear.  Trying to find something that will make them stop calling. i had recently looked into the google thing after seeing a article bout it on cnn.com. Anyone know if Google knows this is happening, possibly someone using Googles name to try and obtain information.

this number 201-918-3081 has called me over 20 times today. And it just started today. I just keep ignoring the calls hoping that they get the message.

After getting tons of calls from 210 918 3081 I looked up this page and when they called back the next time I answered and it was someone from google jobs.

I receive about 15-20 calls a day from these people. I have told them numerous times to stop calling. And I repeated that I asked before and they just keep going on with their lingo until I hang up. They then call back about 30 minutes later

20 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER TODAY, AND IT IS ONLY 3:00 PM. THEY STARTED CALLING AT 8:00 A.M.  CALLER ID SAYS NEW JERSEY. CALLED THE NUMBER BACK, GOT A RECORDING SAYING PRESS 1 FOR A REP. PRESS 2 TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALLING LIST. I PRESSED 2, BUT SINCE THAT I HAVE RECEIVED 6 MORE CALLS. I CALLED MY PHONE COMPANY, THEY SAID THAT IT COULD TAKE 24 HOURS FOR THE PRESS 2 OPTION TO WORK, AND TO FILE A COMPLANT WITH THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I DID BOTH. IF THEY CONTINUE TO CALL THEY CAN BE FINED FOR EACH CALL AFTER OUR COMPLANT WAS MADE. HOPE THIS WORKS....THE PHONE COMPANY SAID IF THEY CONTUNUE TO CALL AFTER A FEW MORE DAYS, TO CALL HER BACK, AND SHE WILL SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE.

in the past 4 days this number has called me 17 times!!!!! i answered once and they asked for Eileen or Irene, I said there's no one here named that. they hung up but still kept calling!!! WTF!!

who calls my cell phone number from phone number # 201=918-3081?  I signed up to not get telemarketers & crank calls.
