called 8 timesin the past 2 days. doesn't say anything

I been getting calls from these people for the past 2 days.  They never leave a message on my voice mail so I called back and it says Press 2 to register on their Do Not Call list.  I did that and put in my number so I hope they stop calling me.

I am getting them too. So annoying.

They called me and I was prepared. When I heard some person clear his throat, I promptly blew my whistle as loud as I could then banged the phone on the counter and finished off with another whistle. When I listened, I heard a dial tone. I'm hoping that will teach them to avoid my number. Try it the next time you get an annoying phone call...

this number started calling me today at 8:30, and again at 10:00. no message left. Last week my bank sent me a letter stating my bank card was compromised. That card was cancelled and they issued me another just to be on the safe side.

OK... just filed a complaint against the number and this is the response I got...

I have been getting calls all morning.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't have programmed in my phone. This caller was so persistent I thought I would check it out online.  Someone previously mentioned something about a government grants.. I did just file online for student aide. Anyone else?  I hope that is not where they got my number. Has anyone reported this that to the Do Call List?  

I live in Orlando.

2019184831 This number started calling at 7:30 this morning and won't stop. I called it back and got a recording telling me to press 2 to put my number on their do not call list. I done that. What should I do if they keep calling?

THIS NUMBER HAS BEING CALLING ME ABOUT 4 TIMES ON AN HOUR.  I did pick up the phone but no-one answered.  They keep calling and said no-word. I called them back and asked them to take me out of their calling list.

Is always very scary to answer a phone call from India, I never understand a word they say (Is it English what they are saying... the only thing I GET IS Madam... I THINK THAT IS WHAT THEY SAY (???)

I have received 7 missed calls on my cell phone from this number since January 30.  Messages are never left.

I am having the same problem, and am getting annoyed.  They call up to 10 times per day....a couple of times each hour.  Plus they call after 8 PM, when my baby is trying to sleep.  Nobody is on the line, and I have verbally told them to stop calling...but they don't.

Reading some of the comments here, I realize the calls I'm getting from this number must be a result of my completing a form on some site that offered information about govt. grants.  Even though I did not complete the offer, they must have somehow captured my info anyway. I never answer any number I don't recognize.

They call me also but I was asleep then. I searched the number before I called because I've never had this number calling me, ever until now. I am hip too this scam mess because I don't have time,the time for it! people, keep your dukes up on this and plus eduacate everyone about this to the people you love.

Calls about every hour so I picked up to see and just silence. How can I stop this without spending the money to see who this is.

They have called me 5 times in the last hour

They've called my cell phone every hour.  When I call back, a message says to press 1 to speak to a service rep.  When I press 1, it says the line is busy and it goes back to main menu.  Pressing 2 to get on the "no-call" list hasn't done anything...they still keep calling!

Called my cell phone 6 times within a hour or two apart; sounds like automatic  random computer dialing. I doubt anyone will find out who is dialing. I have used the Do Not Call system, but calls do not stop; I have reported numerous different numbers, but calls do not stop. I simply will not pick up, either my cell or home line, if I do not know who is calling; I will not play their games. Tragic, they have no life.

Just started getting calls (on my cell) two days ago.  Like the majority, no one is available when I dial the "missed" call.  There is a connection with one other person because I filled out online request for acai berry, but declined the offer when they wanted credit card information.  I had already keyed in my cell number.  The calls began the next evening.  I will ignore...my phone is on silent...until they get tired.  One thing for certain, they are a bunch of crooks.

Been calling my number for weeks. I called it back on my cell last night with no id and it gave me a chance to enter my number on their do not call list so i did and they still called this next morning. I cant even find out who they are or what they want or what company they are calling from, we just do not answer any more. There should be something you can dial in to keep them from calling you any more, like a nusance button to stop bill collectors and these unwanted callers. Phone company get to that button asap, even is i was charged a dollar every time i put a number in to the new system i am asking for it would be worth it for us all to be able to have some control on who calls our number we pay good money for.

Same problem as everyone else has stated. Constant calls at all hours of the day and night. I did finally answer and it was a a woman with a heavy foreign accent, who called me by my first name. Wanted to sell me Acai. Strange, because another number was calling same as this one until yesterday, when I reported it and now, this number (201-918-4831), is constantly calling with the same MO. 201-918-3048 belongs to the same group of scammers/telemarketers. These folks are abusive phone intruders!!

This Number keeps calling a French Person I think and they say is this Ealy.

This number calls nearly every hour.  I don't answer calls I don't recognize the number.  They never leave a message, just call every day.
